[W:282]Liz Cheney calls out fellow House Republicans for associating with White nationalist event

I don't care who organizes an event.

I do care about what is said there.

If the rally, gathering has people there spouting hate speech (against any group....including whites) I think it is wrong.

I don't care if they belong to congress or not.
It's a simple yes or no question.

Correct, you refuse to agree with her. With something as simple as opposing white supremacists, why would you instead try and deflect the conversation?

I have not commented on what she said. I have not read it.

But, then again, you are a left-winger.....where villification of those who don't do what you think they should is acceptable.

You are welcomed to deal with what I've posted, not what you want me to post.

And yet your absolute highest priority when dealing with white supremacists is to make sure Liz Cheney and some unidentified Democrats are criticized.

Have you considered that I'm just ignoring your whataboutism deflection? I'm calling out your deflection, why are you surprised that I am not engaging it?

No, I've considered that you are not doing what you expect me to do.

Which only makes you (1) left-wing (2) a hypocrite.

And yet your absolute highest priority when dealing with white supremacists is to make sure Liz Cheney and some unidentified Democrats are criticized.

Not dealing with white surpemacists at all.

It's not hypocrisy to think people should talk about the thread topic.

Yes. We know. In a thread about what Liz Cheney said, you have not read what Liz Cheney said. Your priority is attacking liberals. That's literally what I've been saying.

1. Thank you for finally posting a fact (1 st full sentence).

2. Liberals are not most on this board who call themselves liberal. They (and you) are left wingers. There is a huge difference.

3. No, you've been demanding fealty to your POV.

Correct. You are doing everything you can to avoid talking about them even when they are the topic.

Which is exactly what white supremacists want you to do.

You speak for white supremacists now ?

How is that possible ?

Are you one of them ?

"(CNN)Republican Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming called out two members of her conference who spoke at an event organized by White nationalist Nick Fuentes. "As Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene and Rep Paul Gosar speak at this white supremacist, anti-Semitic, pro-Putin event, silence by Republican Party leaders is deafening and enabling," Cheney tweeted Saturday. "All Americans should renounce this garbage and reject the Putin wing of the GOP now," she added.

Greene, a Georgia Republican, spoke at the America First Political Action Conference in Orlando, Florida, on Friday -- an event founded by the far-right activist Fuentes as an alternative to the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, which is taking place this week.

Gosar appeared at the American First Political Action Conference via a pre-recorded video, HuffPost reported. The Arizona Republican attended the same conference last year, and Cheney was the only member of House GOP leadership to directly call him out over it at the time."

Just a short, quick hop from there to the CPAC Conference.
shrug...

This won't help her get elected. The Republican rank and file in Wyoming don't want her.

Just because the left says the AFPAC is a white nationalist group doesn't mean it is.

She's offering commentary on something just to annoy people.

Now, I for one, have not seen anything about what was actually said. Has the conference taken place ?

Or is this an effort by Cheney to practice cancel culture ?

White nationalism, of course.
How can a Latino be a white nationalist?I

"Big tech and the Left Wing media are colluding to smear and silence Nick Fuentes, a proud Latino patriot who strives to always put America First," a representative for Fuentes told ABC News. "This campus conservative is being targeted by the fake news media because he refuses to bow to the socialist cancel culture mob!”

Just because the left says the AFPAC is a white nationalist group doesn't mean it is.
Nobody said anything about "the left".

The organizer of the gathering has been deemed a white supremacist by the Justice Department. White supremacists believe that white people are a superior race. White supremacists are the US's greatest domestic terror threat.

Can you show me where I said I side with white surpemacists pleast. I'll ask to have that post deleted.

If you can't, I'll just assume you are like the myriad of posters here who like to make stuff up.
You're doing your best to move the goal posts off the OP, which was Cheney calling out a couple of GOP morons attending an event hosted by white supremacists. If you don't side with them, why are you wanting to move the conversation off of what she said, and the event, and those in the GOP who attended, to the left's supposed embrace of Cheney?

If you agree with Cheney and Romney, you can say that. If you disagree, you can note that as well. The extent to which some Democrats agree with Cheney on this one point is not relevant to anything.

What I think I said was:

1. Look at Liz Cheney....republican darling of the left.
2. Funny how you cheer her on (love what she does)
3. All the while harrassing and bothering Krysten Sinema becasue she's telling you to stuff your agenda.

Now.....please let me know if you see it differently.

I don't believe I've commented on her statement.

If so, please point it out.
What do those two people have to do with one another? You keep trying to conflate the two, for some odd reason.

Your opinion is duly noted.

That's right - she and what she said is the topic of this thread. You've avoided taking a position on that and instead are trolling the thread with liberal bashing, and BUTWHATABOUT!!!????????????

So can you comment on the merits of what Cheney said? That would be nice. She's calling out GOP members of Congress who attended this conference.
