Because of the identity politics they practice, my guess would be Karen Bass. A woman, black, and she was being considered as Biden's VP.

Well my only part in it was to point out that it is neither racist nor cynical to consider people of color among other qualifications because that is likely among the qualities that appeals to the voters as well. Mike Pence wasn't selected to pull in the Catholics any more than Harris was chosen to gather a few MAGA outliers.

As for exactly who is the best for the job, others have proffered their opinion here on that.

I tend to agree. Given the Dems' penchant for identity politics, Bass is probably the most likely choice.

Again, if you want to whine about "affirmative action" for the proles and the poors and minorities, at least be consistent and call for killing off "legacy" affirmative action admissions for rich white boys at the schools that funnel graduates to positions of power all over the country.

The way it works is if Obama had an advantage because of "affirmative action" it's bad. But if Jared Kushner's daddy bought him a slot at Harvard for $2.5 million, that's the way the world SHOULD work because kids of rich white daddies have a divine right or something to assume positions of power they did not earn, but were handed to them by daddy's riches.

Worst part is that he has no evidence obama got in because of affirmative action. We know obama was a great student so most likely not. Bush was a poor student and it's 100 certain he got in to yale and harvard because of his money and name.

The governor of California will appoint the lovely and soft-spoken Maxine Waters.

She will get to be on the Senate panel that indicts former President Trump on something.

As is Newsom.

Barbra Lee has been talked about.....but they cannot have her. She well represents our district. I would hate to lose her (eve though I would gain her as a Senator)

so Harvard gets 2.5million which allows a bunch of smart poor kids to attend without being in debt for 30 years. What did we get by having Obama displace a more qualified Jewish or Asian guy?

How did he cheat on the SAT-someone who wasn't even born when he took the test made that claim-most likely to gain some publicity.
