They strike me as rather immature and prone to speak before thinking it through. They are riding the coat tails of a small percentage within the larger Democratic party who are basically extreme socialists. And while Capitalism needs some socialism (which we've almost always had since the 1930s) they go way past what's reasonable or do-able. I gave them a listen for a few weeks and then realized what demagogues they are. They are populists in the same way Trump is a populist, (just for the other side). What's needed in America today are statesmen and women; what we get is pandering politicians. On BOTH sides.
 
They are dyed in the wool Communists and a danger to the American way of life.

What’s rather obvious is the attempt to place them on some holy pedestal where any criticism or even mockery must be racism. They’re far left lefties. Nothing more.

The "squad" are all freshmen Congresswomen. They are new. They are hungry. They want change.

In today's political climate, I like it. I think it's refreshing. It's like 4 angry women were plucked from a march, and tossed into the halls of Congress to fix things.

Guess some people would rather they simply be overcome with power and greed.

Maybe eventually AOC will become jaded enough that she can get a Russian oligarch to build a $200 million dollar aluminum plant in her district. Just for kicks.

Oh wait - never mind. That's already happening in Kentucky.

Wonder who it is -- who could it possibly be, that would allow the Russian mob to invade the quiet, blue-green grassy hills of Kentucky?

Wonder who that might be?

A very very VERY TEENSY soupcon of "quasi-socialist" tweaking at the most. "
Just enough to skew it a little more favorably toward the majority of the population, the blue collar working class and the white collar middle class.
Not to fret, the top tier elites will not lose a dime, their position or even a minute of sleep because in the end, any money that lands in the hands of the majority middle class and working class always winds up back in the hands of the elite before nightfall anyway. (Hat tip to Will Rogers)

The only thing that the middle class gets to keep is some enhanced upward mobility.
Conservatives and even libertarians should actually find that charming and attractive because the idea is to offer enough access to upward mobility that we eventually create MORE wealthy middle class people, with the lower working class eager to climb up the ladder right behind them.
That works out to more consumers, more taxpayers, more capitalism.

It's like adding a tiny bit of hot sauce to make the capitalist burrito tastier.

I agree that the Squad seems to have it in for capitalism, which is misguided.
I attribute it to the fact that they were born about twenty or thirty years too late to even have an inkling what it is like when capitalism is a friendly tool for the working man.
All they've known is crony capitalism, anarcho-capitalism, vulture capitalism, disaster capitalism, and a lot of meltdowns and bailouts.

That's not a defense for their silly extremist fantasies of a socialist America, it's just a sidelong view at what has influenced them as they grew up.

I said that because it's rather obvious that more than a few on the right have noticed that she's attractive.

It is highly inappropriate for the president to mock members of Congress, and is especially egregious when warpped in obvious racial language. The fact that you find them far left lefties does not excuse his behavior.

Is is more appropriate for members of Congress to “mock” the President because I get the idea you’d be ok with that.

I would hope that those who whine, but secretly look for national course correction will vote Trump in 2020. By the way, there is nothing inherently wrong with being white. Does that help?
