Works for me, I hate switching back and forth. Finally!!!!!! Although think it should take place sooner. Oh well...... better late than never
WASHINGTON, March 15 (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate voted unanimously on Tuesday to make Daylight Savings Time permanent, a move supporters say would make winter afternoons brighter and end the twice changing of clocks.
The measure still needs approval from the U.S. House of Representatives and the backing of President Joe Biden. On Sunday, most of the United States resumed Daylight Savings Time, moving ahead one hour. The United States will resume standard time in November 2022.
Senator Marco Rubio said after input from airlines and broadcasters that supporters agreed that the change would not take place until November 2023.

Where would I move to? I'm already here.Move.
On second thought, don't.
Then quitcher bitchin'.Where would I move to? I'm already here.
Ohfer****sakes. What's wrong with you?Then quitcher bitchin'.
AgreeThey don't want everyone to have to change their clocks again. Everyone's already used to the schedule so the next change would be the last under this bill. And let's just hope that this passes because the clock switching is so stupid.
EDIT: To clarify, they want the extra evening hour to be the norm, so there will be two more clock switches, with next March being the last.
EDIT 2: Actually it says the change wouldn't take place until November 2023? No idea why. I was completely wrong. So we'd lose an hour in the evening? That sucks.
Where would I move to?
Two states have passed measures to stay on standard time — Arizona and Hawaii. Both congressional bills would allow states to stay on standard time if they adopted the time change before the Sunshine Protection Act went into effect.
Like going back and forth? I'm gonna have to report this post nowI like the going back and forth. And if we had to switch, I want the other one, where you have the extra hour of sunlight in the morning (so staying standard time, not DST I think it is). I like having my kids going to school with light outside in the winter, but I also like having the extra hour of light during the summer evenings.
Okay.Like going back and forth? I'm gonna have to report this post now
Yeah, why not just keep it on standard time all year? Makes no sense to me to ever be on DST, or change clocks.I detest DST, put it on standard time and keep it there, do you really want children walking to school in the dark?
Finally! Although think it should take place sooner. Oh well . . . better late than never

BANNED!Okay.
To me, it is part of a dynamic living, showing adaptability.
LOL, so much hatred...BANNED!
LOL, so much hatred...
Just for this, I'm going to work harder to convince more people to write to their congressmembers to request that they pass a bill to make standard time the new normal, which would conflict with the Senate bill, causing chaos to ensue as they fight back and forth about which should be the time we go to.
Technically anything that reaches the house or senate is political. Standing for the pledge is political.Good, I hate time change. What's holding this up in the house. This is purely non-political. Get it passed and signed
I was thinking an anarchist, or follower of Ian Malcolm. Embrace the chaos. You know who does this? A socialist..
We need mod action now!

We do? I'll have to make a note of that. I thought it was just a fad.Yeah but we label everything we don't like as socialism these days.
