I wonder what the ex-employees think about their union? Remember, they wouldn't cooperate with the company at their union's recommendation?

Honestly I couldn't give a damn what they think.

The national rate for obesity and diabetes is suddenly on a steep increase.

Love Twinkies I have to drive 30 minutes to find a store that sells them. For my ass, that's a good thing.

Yay! The world is saved!!

You know I have never had a Twinkie...

You're not missing much. They're disgusting bricks of sugar with more nasty sugar goo in the middle. My grandfather used to freeze them and eat them all the time when I was a kid. Just thinking about it makes my stomach hurt.

I never liked them. Hostess Cupcake fan, myself.

Me too! Twinkies are overrated. The cupcakes are way better. Although both are probably equally unhealthy.

I had to shelve my plans for a Twinkie gun. Now, I'll dust 'em off.

If I'm going to commit suicide by sugar, this will be my tool....

I never liked Little Debbie products for some reason.

Oops! I must correct myself. I do like the Swiss Cake Rolls.

Yes - why is this? There's something just gross tasting about Little Debbie anythings. Some are just OK and most are just gross.

I think I've had a Twinkie once. I didn't think they were very good. I like....

the increase in calories makes me even less likely to get one. i didn't really like them as a kid; always thought they needed icing. they made an iced one for a minute, which was ok. the one i liked was the chocolate cupcake with the swirly **** on the icing.

as for the union bakers, they took like a fifty percent pay cut over two or three different "just this one time, do it for the company" management disaster events since 2000. management then asks them to take another one. any person who says they wouldn't quit or strike if that happened at their own job is not being honest. i actually worked at a non-union, very well paying pharmaceutical gig for two years. most of these people make 100+ grand a year with great benefits. the company lost a couple patents and was approaching real trouble, so they didn't give the raises that were promised. you should have seen the internal boards. i thought i was reading Eugene V. Debbs, not anti-union Republicans, which these people certainly were. "you're taking food out of my kids' mouths!" seriously, lol.

some union strikes are dog dumb, such as the Chicago teacher strike. this one i probably would have participated in.
