No...see, these payoffs were not uncovered by Mueller. They were first discovered -- at least publicly -- by the Wall St. Journal and Michael Avenatti. So the Mueller case has absolutely nothing to do with this thread. That is where your original premise fails.

No, they do not

Cohen was compensated with money from a company. The SDNYs sentencing statement does identify which company, but it was not the campaign.

Mueller’s team referred the case to the U.S. attorney, but the U.S. attorney sought the search warrant and received it only after establishing probable cause.

You started out complaining how unfair it was that the campaign finance violations of other candidates did not have a special prosecutor appointed to investigate while Trumps violations does have one. Even though it does not.

What does Mueller’s team referred the case to the U.S. attorney, have to do with whether or not a special prosecutor is investigating Trumps campaign finance violations?

You have a Republican House, Senate and DOJ but still you're complaining about Democrats not being prosecuted. Why didn't Republicans prosecute them? We know Republicans tried to go after every issue when Obama was in office but nothing panned out.

Sorry, but Obama's lawyer is not in prison. Obama didn't create fake shell companies to disguise payments. The House and Senate settlements didn't involve shell companies and fake names.
