my dad served two years in the Korean War and came home with permanent hearing loss but he did not like former soldiers who trotted out the "veteran" label at every opportunity.

Really, so what's in it? Did you check? Republicans not supporting veterans would be a first. Democrats hate DoD and babykillers (as Democrats call veterans), everyone knows that.

Republicans already admitted to blocking the bill as revenge for Manchin and Schumer agreeing on the inflation bill. You can quit with the phony "slush fund" claim. Republicans really were as bad as it sounds.

Could you be a little more specific. I mean MAGA just vetoed the Vets Burnpit Health Benefits.
Sure they folded a few days latter under intense public pressure, but they showed their true selves.

they love "using the military". they don't love each individual military member (especially if they're captured in war).
