Trump's Assault On the Republic

No, communists. Fascists are national socialists. Communists are global socialists. That's really the only difference between fascism and communism.

Incorrect. You engage in direct democracy every 2 years when you vote for any number of local offices. You vote on referendums.

That there is democracy. If you wanna call it a Republic, I won’t stop ya. That’s right too!

I understand you wanted to be pithy but this isn’t recognizable compared to actual words and deeds committed by Trump He literally denied congressional subpoenas and insisted his admin do likewise. He stated that 2A lets him do whatever he wants. He once said guns should be taken from people without due process.

IN both constitutional scenarios and Posse Comitatus he has demonstrated behavior that suggests he doesn’t understand either.

I have found that most of statements like yours here are based on incorrect assumptions that are in turn based on inaccurate "reporting" from the media.

Your answer is incongruent with my question. I asked what rule of law is Trump being asked to abandon? You can name it. You just say that people like me are asking Trump to abandon rule of law. So, which law? Otherwise, you lose the point of debate and I'll see you on another thread.

I wrote on this forum yesterday that I wouldn’t be surprised to see these armed militia people out on Election Day. I think they would have went out in their own, but it’s crazy that Trump is encouraging them. These guys are thugs.

I don't think it's BS at all; in fact, I think it's 100% accurate. What else would you call a "president" who makes a call to "get rid of the ballots" as Trump has done? I don't know about you, but I call him a would-be dictator. And autocrat. Both terms fit him perfectly in my book. I don't want a dictator running the U.S., I want a real President, something Trump has never been and never could be.
