And we know you're a Trump lover who won't admit the guy ever makes a mistake. But there is no rational way you can blame this on WaPo. They held back the sensitive part of the story so there was nothing in the story that indicates where the info came from. Furthermore, if Trump revealed the information to the Russians, then unless we have a completely incompetent and reckless intelligence community, whichever country or foreign agency supplied that info found out about it being disclosed to the Russians almost immediately. The alternative is we tried to hide the disclosure from Israel or whoever, and the partner then read about it in the paper, which is incredibly dangerous because of the threat to the source, and is a complete betrayal of our ally who shared the info. If that's your alternative and you're OK with it, not much I can say.

Further, the person VERY high up in the Trump WH who leaked to the WaPo is far more responsible than WaPo for reporting news that we SHOULD know, which is our POTUS is an incompetent and reckless moron who can't be trusted with sensitive intelligence.

When all is said and done and the economic and foreign policy performance is officially put on the table the worst President ever will be Obama. His economic numbers are worse than Bush, he got an Ambassador killed but he did allow you to marry your same sex and that apparently trumps everything. It has less to do with McMasters and more to do with the method that the story broke. Any government official is required to report to Congress whenever a piece of classified data is released. The official in question instead ran to the WaPo and not Congress. They would only do that if they knew the data wasn't actually highly classified anymore and that they themselves wouldn't be breaking the law by not reporting to Congress.

McMasters statement simply adds clarification for why the story broke the way it did... from an anonymous source rather than from a Democrat in Congress.

Can you cite something that explains your assertion a bit better. As you describe it cannot possibly be true, so you're leaving out something critical. I'm sure we share classified information with our allies on an incredibly regular basis - I'd guess daily if not hourly - and it would be at least impractical if not functionally impossible to brief Congress on every little bit of information shared with our allies.

I might understand if this was some kind of a breach, or theft of information, but the POTUS deciding to exercise his broad authority as CiC to share it wouldn't logically require the POTUS or top aides to run to Congress and tell them what classified information Trump shared with anyone.

What we know about the information that it had long been public knowledge and widely reported. Everything you stated beyond that truth is pure speculation that is not supported by evidence.

Again, if an person with actual knowledge of classifications of sources and methods had drawn the conclusion that this anonymous source had they would have taken it to the proper authorities, not the Washington Post. Had they provided a report on the incident to the Congress it would have wound up in the news anyway.. if it had an ounce of credibility. This source went to the Post because they wanted the story out without the ability to vet it, and the anonymity so that it couldn't come back on them when it fell apart.

Beware the anonymous whistle blower.

That's also pure speculation on your part, and several people who claim to know the source are saying you're just wrong. We don't know who's correct but you can't claim to have inside knowledge here without providing the source for your insights. Beware the anonymous chat forum poster.

I am still waiting for evidence of wrong doing. No half truths, speculations, in my opinions, or anything else. Present some facts or as far as I am concerned this is all just resistance to stop Trump and the republican party from doing some good for the country by a bunch of crybabies that lost the election.

You will be waiting a long time fr evidence of wrongdoing-- there is no CRIMIAL investigation occuring. Kind of tough to find it that kind of environment. All these crazies talking about impeachment and the like seem to forget the problem of identifying an actual CRIME.

The GOP excuse was that ms.clinton was rather sloppy with classified material and lied about it to boot. The Democrats saw nothing wrong with what Clinton did; saw her fit enough to even nominated her to be president as I recall.
Now, the Dems are saying Trump is not qualified to be president because he... is rather sloppy with classified and is telling lies about it. I mean, its a valid criticism of Trump, but coming from Democrats... lets be serious here.
