Donald Trump and his new team think that they have 73 days to turn this campaign around. They're wrong.

The Republican nominee --three months after clinching the nomination --has begun frantically trying to reposition himself in the last week, installing a new campaign manager and controversial CEO to help him escape the straitjacket that his 14 months of incendiary comments and hard-edged policy positions have him in.

The same hate and fear message that has attracted Alt-Right support will cause others to vote against Trump.

It kind of went nowhere.

Trump is dead. He knows it. He wants it. He has never pretented to run a serious campaign.
It did not go exactly as he wanted but he did as the Clintons asked. I believe there is a 50% chance he will drop out before November.

He's still here. He still draws a crowd. He still has millions of supporters who have stayed quiet because of the hatred expressed by Hillary's sheeple.

You probably also believe in the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and Santa Claus, if what you say is true.

I highly doubt he's gonna drop out.

Awww, sweety.... I know it's nice to tell yourself it's just the mindless Hillary zombies who think Trump is a disgusting abortion of a human being, but it's actually quite a bipartisan sentiment. In a time of such division in America, Trump's actually managed to unite people of all races, creeds, and political leanings.

How is this breaking news?

I believe there is a better than 50% chance that he'll get his butt handed to him in November.

I'm not sure a registered democrat and probable Hillary supporter can make a legitimate appeal to undecided voters, but his dog whistles will certainly attract the usual responses from those already in his camp.

Politico’s Army of Democrats Driving Anti-Trump Narrative

"Eli Stokols, a national politics reporter for Politico, was registered as a Democrat when he lived in Colorado. His voter registration form from when he lived in Denver, Colorado, obtained by Breitbart News, shows he was registered as a Democrat for at least approximately three years—from his registration on Dec. 5, 2005, until his last recorded vote on Nov. 4, 2008, when President Barack Obama was elected."

When Republicans are running ads against their own candidate you know something is wrong with him.

I would agree. Trump has less than a 15% of winning. The only way I see it happening is if

1- Clinton really does have some health problems that can be established before the election day
2- Trump does better than expected in the debates and Clinton does a lot worse than expected
3- Dem turnout is low on election day and Trump squeaks in by a nose

Other than that - its Clinton all the way. And if she wins by more than five points - the Senate should flip also especially if it is 8 points then it is a sure thing.

You listed 3 ways Clinton could lose. Hell by my count there is over a 100.

Forgive me if I was not clear - but I listed one way she could lose if those three things happened together.

I would love to hear your ideas. Please share.

It's true. "Trump might have run out of time."
And, it's equally true, "Sen. Clinton might be terminally ill and won't make it to January."
And, just think, "President Obama might seek asylum in Cuba."
And, perhaps, "John Kerry is possibly considering a home in Iran."
And, the really big news, "Bernie Sanders could be considering a move to Venezuela."

Trump could be dead. Clinton could be dying. But, if either one is elected, America will be on life support. We've barely survived the current King.

It's a shame the right wing candidate is so lousy, because Hillary inspires absolutely no one on the left of the spectrum. All told, this will be the most uninspiring election in my lifetime, midterms included

his opponent isn't likable either, and this election is far from over. this isn't a time to get complacent. Trump can't be given control of the military, and that's what this election boils down to for me. it's very depressing, but that's the way it looks at this point. i hope that this wakes more people up to the dangers of a gerrymandered duopoly system.

I'm no Trump fan, and in fact, my favorite candidate going into all this was James Webb (D) of Virginia.

Alas, his political Party had no use for candidates with a tangible record of accomplishment, integrity, honesty, and accountability.

But this notion of, "Trump might already be out of time", or "Trump is finished" even......
Haven't we been hearing this same tired nonsense for about a year now?

Every time you hand-wringing, lick-spittle Hillary Clinton supporters throw out this line, you find yourselves proven wrong.

The guy, as bombastic and arrogant a hot-dog as he may be, is still in it.
The guy is a major league dick, but he is still in it.

And the sad thing is this;
If he wins, it won't be on his merit.

If he wins, it'll be because just enough voters can't stand the dishonest crook Hillary Clinton.

She truly is a contemptible, low-life, crooked, horrible person.
I long to see her serve time in prison, quite honestly.

Fear sells very well.
The #1 reason people aren't voting for Trump is because of the fear angle.
It's been sold very well, that why you're continuing to connect him with the alt right.
You've been sold on fear.

It's also honestly why a lot of people will vote FOR Trump. Both campaigns are "I'm not the other one." Truthfully, they're both also correct. Hillary IS a crook, Trump DOESN'T have the right type of personality.

It should be indisputable at this point that both candidates are selling themselves based on fear.
Hillary selling the fear of Trump, Trump is selling the fear of terrorists, immigrants, etc.

In terms of who is selling it better right now, I'd say Hillary.
She probably got some help from some of Obama's COBS people.
