The Crusades were glorified land grabs that ended in humiliating defeat for the West....as usual.

Israel pulled out of the Sinai during the period 1979 to 1982. They were so “panicked” by their victory that they waited SIX years to sign a treaty with Egypt.

Israel was offered peace by Egypt in December of 1970. The ass kicking they received after they refused directly motivated them to face reality ;)

Yeah, in case you hadn’t noticed Israel had been trying to colonize Egyptian land for over twenty years before hand....and yet they still were forced to abandon said land in order to get peace.
