Trump Launches War On Iran

This appears to be an ideologically driven (Orange Man Bad!) 'reading' of events, without any real support for it.

That you cite some rando on BlueSky

only supports that assessment.

I'll just leave you to it.
Orange man bad is a weak argument. You can do better than that lazy nonsense.
Or maybe you cant.

It was highly targeted to a few locations that were refining nuclear weapons to use on its enemies.
PURE UNADULTERATED BULLCRAP

In 2015 the US convinced the IAEA to use Palantir's Mossaic Software - unbeknownst to the IAEA the software was/is controlled by the CIA/Mossad.

The software was sold to the IAEA because it could "map out data points thereby signal when Iran was close to developing a nuclear weapon".

Iranian IT/AI Expert Mohsen Fakhrizadeh caught on to the scam but the Mossad immediately assassinated him:

That was 2020. So the UN is lying to us now? Why was Iran blocking areas for inspection and interviews?

Seems rather wishy washy to me, especially considering that it is only the US which has the ordinance to drive down to the deeply buried nuclear facilities.

The above hasn't been ascertained nor guaranteed.

In fact, CNN is on-air reporting the Defense Intelligence Agency is reporting the core components of Iran's Nuke program still remain intact, including the enriched uranium & centrifuges, and the bombing only set the program back several months.

This is breaking on-air over CNN, so no print source yet.

Israel had already set the program back significantly. I saw no immediate threat requiring involving ourselves in a shooting war. As can be seen by the Iran missile attack on our bases, Trump unnecessarily put our personal and resources at risk. Luckily, all of Iran's missiles - save one errant one - were intercepted. Our remaining unscathed wasn't guaranteed, either.

Edit: O.K., the Defense Intelligence Report is coming out in print.

So, do we go back in?

Ok so the US goes again now and finish the job or do we wait to see if they try to bring the facilities back on line?

What is the definition of destroyed in this scenario?

Rafael Grossi, director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), allowed the IAEA to be used by the United States and Israel—an undeclared nuclear weapons state in long-term violation of IAEA rules—to manufacture a pretext for war on Iran, >>>>>>>despite his agency’s own conclusion that Iran had no nuclear weapons program.<<<<<<<<

On June 12th, based on a damning report by Grossi, a slim majority of the IAEA Board of Governors voted to find Iran in non-compliance with its obligations as an IAEA member. Of the 35 countries represented on the Board, only 19 voted for the resolution, while 3 voted against it, 11 abstained and 2 did not vote.

The United States contacted eight board member governments on June 10th to persuade them to either vote for the resolution or not to vote. Israeli officials said they saw the U.S. arm-twisting for the IAEA resolution as a significant signal of U.S. support for Israel’s war plans, revealing how much Israel valued the IAEA resolution as diplomatic cover for the war.

Trump never ever defines the metrics of success for his actions. It's ridiculous.

I'm going to examine the gravitas of this article. If it appears strong & credible, I may give it its own thread.

So, another miserable Trump failure.

Not really. I think many here have explained the reasons they're opposed and/or find all of this to be ridiculous.
Not that ive seen. The left here oppose this because Trump is for it. That is as deep as any thought process goes for the left on any issue.

Self defense?
This is the world the nuclear powers created.
Get a nuke or be subject to their whims.
I’m not saying the ayatollahs wouldn’t use them or the threat of using them. But i can see that aspect of their development as well.
That pesky weighing both sides of an issue rather than parroting a manufactured narrative.
They have no use for self defense. And, they've already said the want to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth. So, we know what they want them for.

Hold on. Let me put my tin foil hat. Now it makes sense.
