This country, and about 90% of its inhabitants, would never stand for that, and I doubt a single state for vote for any changes in the second amendment whatsoever, let alone "gutting" it. It's all scare tactics that anyone with a high school civics education knows is not even possible, because SCOTUS can't change the constitution with a mere ruling.

Now Roe v Wade is a different matter, because it's based upon constitutional privacy interpretations, which can be unilaterally changed by another sitting SCOTUS.

We all know what he meant when he said that. A not so subtle threat. This is a worrying new low in US politics: A presidential nominee suggesting the assassination of his opponent.

And Trump supporters will defend him... again.

He did not suggest any such thing!

He was leaning towards the idea of increased political activism against Hillary. However, i will agree to the fact that he chose his words wrong. He should have added the words "political activism" or something of the sort.

I have no doubt that the Hillary-friendly media will overblow this, turning it into a shiny object to distract people from Hillary having a known terrorist supporter cheer her on at a rally.
