Trump hedges when asked whether he would transfer power peacefully

So the spying and attempted coup by Obama and his hacks really bothered you?

ROTFLOL... hypocrite.
Your post is irrational.

The FBI legitimately monitored Trump associates because they were meeting with Russian agents. Not investigating them would have been the misdeed. I know the right-wing talking point is to call this a coup. It couldn't be a coup because Trump was not in power. Moreover, if Obama really wanted to "get" Trump, he would have made the FBI investigation public before the election. Meanwhile, the FBI released information about Hillary that influenced the election.

But you know what is a coup? Planning to invalidate 40% of the ballots to stay in power and to have states that have Republican legislatures award their electoral votes to Trump regardless of how the voters voted.
In Pennsylvania, three Republican leaders told me they had already discussed the direct appointment of electors among themselves, and one said he had discussed it with Trump’s national campaign.

“I’ve mentioned it to them, and I hope they’re thinking about it too,” Lawrence Tabas, the Pennsylvania Republican Party’s chairman, told me. “I just don’t think this is the right time for me to be discussing those strategies and approaches, but [direct appointment of electors] is one of the options. It is one of the available legal options set forth in the Constitution.” He added that everyone’s preference is to get a swift and accurate count. “If the process, though, is flawed, and has significant flaws, our public may lose faith and confidence” in the election’s integrity.
Trump is planning a coup.

Trump is planning a coup.

So far the following Republicans have repudiated Mr. Trump's comments: Senator Mitt Romney; Senator Marco Rubio; Representative Steve Stivers; and Representative Liz Cheney.

Not a spec of logic in the entire post; emotions, opinions, a touch of false bravado, but no logic.

It doesn't matter how much you try to apologize for what Trump said, or how much you try to insult other people for being legitimately concerned Trump does not care about democracy, or how much you try to laugh this off. What Trump did was wrong. This is not what an American President is supposed to do. And if you cared more about the country than your devotion to your cult leader you would join the rest of us in condemning Trump's statements. But at this point, everyone expects that from Trump supporters. The things you are are writing are the same things you guys have been writing for 4 years. We get it. You don't give a ****. But we do.

Romney repudiated the comment but also said he would vote for Trump's hand-picked appointment to the Supreme Court, who will side with Trump. Lovely hypocrisy.

It's telling that of 538 members of Congress and the Senate, only four Republicans are vocal.

Hillary was right. They are the deplorables.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday declined to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he loses the Nov. 3 election to Democratic rival Joe Biden.

“We’re going to have to see what happens,” Trump, a Republican, told reporters at the White House when asked if he would commit to a peaceful transfer.

The president has sought repeatedly to cast doubt, preemptively, on the legitimacy of the election because of his concerns about mail-in voting, which Democrats have encouraged during the pandemic.

“The ballots are a disaster,” Trump said.
====================================================
This guy is dangerous.
Since clinton told biden not to concede the election if he is losing then well i guess biden can't accept the election results either and clinton can't accept the results.
She managed to get the green candidate from last year to file bogus law suits on recounts.
So i guess those people are dangerous as well.

Hillary was right. They are the deplorables.
Says the candidate that couldn't accept the election results from 2016 lmao.
leftist hypocrisy at it's finest.

Your country is more important than your devotion to Trump.

It's clear that Trump will refuse to concede under every circumstance.

We know that now.

The question is, what are you going to do about it?
All votes should be counted right? SO what if biden is losing on Nov 3rd will he concede?
clinton doesn't think he should. So more leftist faux outrage.

This election is going to be riddled with fraud because of the rise in mail-in voting.

We vote by mail in Washington state. We have all kinds of incidents where people vote multiple Times. They don’t even bother prosecuting it any more unless it involves one person voting 50 times.

Prove it. Show us the receipts.

Allow me to help you. As soon as you say "fascism" you lose your argument.

How many fascists were as friendly to Israel and the Jewish people as Donald Trump has been?

Pick a different word for you complaints. That one doesn't work.

I will use fascism. It's not perfect, but it's the best word to apply to Trump and his supporters who want their political opponents to be forbidden from voting. You can suggest another word. What suggestions do you have for a word we can use to describe Trump's actions and the actions he intends to take? How do you describe someone who refuses to commit to a peaceful transfer of power and seems intent on preventing his political opponents from participating in our democracy? I'm open to suggestions.

I am going to play Devil‘s Advocate here for a moment and suggest that Trump answered that question with the full intention of triggering his opposition and fueling his base.

Appreciate who this is coming from.

He tried to sell the US military for personal political help.

clinton doesn't think he should. So more leftist faux outrage.

Only votes cast by registered citizens should be counted. Registered citizens who are still alive and able to cast their own vote.

We have a woman here who filled out here sister’s ballot. The woman has been in a coma for more than a year. Mail-in voting is riddled with fraud.

No, it's not "faux" outrage. What Trump said was wrong. Trump said that the mail-in votes shouldn't count and that he won't accept a peaceful transfer of power should because he thinks the mail-in votes shouldn't count. That was wrong. And you are wrong for trying to defend him. It was an unequivocal statement and it was totally unacceptable, something worthy of immediate impeachment and removal from office. So let's just clear that up right now. What Trump did was wrong, and you are wrong for supporting the statement by defending Trump.

Clinton's statements were pretty clear. She said Biden should not concede until the votes are counted and the legal wrangling is resolved, especially in the face of the shenanigans by Trump, the GOP, and the GOP lawyers. That's pretty rational, normal, sane, legal, and it's in line with our country's rules and democratic norms. At this very moment, the GOP is trying to prevent as many people from voting as possible by suing states and counties trying to expand access to voting. Should the Democrats simply do what the Republicans want and agree to all the restrictions that would benefit Trump? That doesn't make any sense. We all know due to the sheer number of mail-in votes the outcome will likely not be resolved until days or weeks after the election. And that's okay. The world is not going to end while we wait for votes to be counted.

If you loved your country more than you loved Trump you would also condemn Trump. I don't hold it against you. I consider you to be a victim of propaganda. You've been brainwashed. That is why I extend my hand to you in friendship and ask you to join the rest of us in condemning Trump's statements.

What Clinton said was wrong you seem to be ignoring facts again. Actually he didn't say that so why are you lying? I thought leftist hated lies.
Sorry i am not defending stuff you make up. Mail in votes that are valid should be counted. Actually it isn't worth impeachment. Again you have no clue what you are talking about.

Yes they were so they were equally wrong as trump. not accepting election results. not accepting defeat etc is wrong is it not? is that not what you have been complaining about trump not accepting
the election results if he loses? SO you support it if democrat don't accept election results but yell at clouds when republicans do the same thing hence your faux outrage and clear hypocrisy and double standard
which is why we can simply dismiss your howling for what it is.

Your no true scotsman fallacy is just that. Your projection arguments just as much of a failure.
Yes you have been brainwashed.

I ask you to join my hand with the rest of us concerning clinton's statements and condemn them.
Lets see just how consistent you will be not that you will.

"Fascism" is just fine with me. The kind of support that Trump gives to Jews is hardly heartfelt. He is an anti-semite as well as a bigot toward other religious and racial groups as well as a misogynist. Any support he gives to Israel is purely for his own (and I do not mean for America's) interests, just as his support for Saudi Arabia is. He supports Muhammed bin Salman who cut up Jamal Khashoggi for the love of Pete!

I suggest we're being assaulted and assailed by 21st century uniquely American fascism.

While American Republicans-Conservatives have some overlap with 20th century fascism that is primarily European, their newly emerged fascism as they pursue it in the USA is indeed uniquely American given that it dismantles and shreds the USA Constitution.

And because nowhere until now -- and in the USA -- has fascism seized significant power against three components of government that are separate but equal and that exercise a balance of powers within the federal system that is predicated on a "We the People" form of democracy that is itself unique and specific to the United States.

American Republicans-Conservatives have transmogrified overnight into 21st century uniquely American fascists. While they have found they can't get away with a burning of the Reichstag they would be very likely to make the trains to the camps run on time.

Indeed, they are expert at doing everything they do within legal bounds. Their first defense of anything Trump does is that it is legal, which it is. After they have gained absolute power however they know they'll need to make crimes against humanity legal so that's what they will do -- and they will execute this crime in itself with much cheer and celebration about it.

So, until they start gassing Jews, it is simply GODWIN TDS to worry about the dictator?

You may not know a lot about history if you think the problem lies with mail-in voting. What would keep that same woman from walking into a voting booth with her late sister's ID? That was what they did in the bad old days in Cook County, Chicago when they voted the rolls of the dead. It was in-person voting, not mail-in voting, that was notorious for fraud! That time is over now, however. Cook County no longer has the dead on its rolls. Look it up.

We had vote fraud before mail-in voting became the new fad, however mail-in systems makes it much easier.

We should be doing what we can to prevent it, not make it easier.
