Trump addressed the National Prayer Breakfast this morning and had his arch enemy (Pelosi) sitting 4 chairs away.
A simple gesture of reconciliation and a few kind words could have worked wonders towards a beginning of easing the hostilities of the two parties but he chose to be a complete asshole.
Trump then held a Victory Party.
He could have addressed his argument of being targeted by the Democrats and nobody would have argued. He could have been a bit humbled and appreciative. But he had to go right past stupid by trashing on every perceived opponent in the Democrat party. I agree with many that the democrats set the bar way too low for impeachment, and I always will. But the way he acted today was one of the reasons that I always believed that he didn't deserve the office to begin with.............as I have stated many times on here.
I know that I am getting older, but I miss the days of Reagan (R) and Tip O'niell (D) going loggerheads all week long, and then playing cards together upstairs of the White House at night and actually finding compromises along the way.
