Being for and against tax hikes and wage increases.
Being for single payer health care then claiming to be for repealing ObamaCare.
Constantly changing his war plans about how to deal with Isis....
Claiming that he will self fund and now is seeking money from donors
Many different stances on abortion until he quite comically suggested that women should be punished for having them...

Adjusting ideas based on new information is good but his stances have been consistent in overall strategy re: dealing with ISIS. What you're whinging about is specific troop numbers and how he should go about securing the oil fields. It would be foolish to nail down a hard strategy before consulting with generals.
