Trans women should be arrested over bathroom use, N.C. gubernatorial candidate says

A trans woman “feels” like a woman but factually isn’t. So why do we listen to those fantasies?

None of that proves anything all it does is reiterate the definitions. At no point does it say a trans woman is a woman because they aren’t. That’s why you call them trans woman. If they were women you would just call them women but you can’t even define that word so let’s not even bother. You can’t tell me how someone’s feelings make them a woman or what those feelings are or how that person knows those feelings are correct. You just said my feelings were wrong so clearly feelings can’t always be right correct?

were did i say it proves anything? again how many lies and strawman will you post when they just keep failing
those links are for education, you can accept the facts or dont facts dont care about your feelings
At no point does it say a trans woman is a woman because they aren’t.
biologically they never will be and nobody claims otherwise
gender wise they are
legally they can be
maybe actually learn about this topic first

actually it is defined, so that's another failed lie
why do you hate facts, science and trans people so much?
You can’t tell me how someone’s feelings make them a woman or what those feelings are or how that person knows those feelings are correct.
i provided the link's that do so, denying that is just silly
You just said my feelings were wrong so clearly feelings can’t always be right correct?
yes your feelings that "i" need to prove to you that they should be allowed are wrong and meanginless

we get it, your views see trans issues as magically different and treating them as lessers is fine with your views

anything else?
again maybe something true, factual and on topic?

You didn’t answer one of my questions and continue to ramble on about how I’m a bigot and stupid. You’re illogical in your responses and this is going nowhere.

You guys are the ones wanting to change the way bathrooms have been used based on biological sex for years and years without issue. Therefore, YOU should be the one to prove to me why that should be allowed and how you will keep women safe.

ROFL

Please explain how your plan to force guys to use the women's restroom "will keep women safe."

please, please, pretty please?

more lies
what questions did you ask that mattered that weren't answered?
where did i call YOU a bigot and stupid? quote????????
You’re illogical in your responses and this is going nowhere.
that's correct because your claims have failed at every turn hence why we are still in the same spot

your views see trans issues as magically different and treating them as lessers is fine with your views
there are no actual rights violated by allowing trans to use the public bathroom of their choice
and no logical reason has been provided to ban trans from what they are currently already doing and to treat them as lessers

so again? anything else

all good
i dont know what anti-woke is since nutters just call anything woke they don't like so i get the main point but i also dont know of an example of super liberal politicians that have ideas just as weird as arresting people based on their gender identity/bathroom use

now nutters come in all shapes and sizes and parties, thats for sure, im just saying i cant think of a idea on the otherside that mirrors that, especially one in equal numbers
From my understanding "woke" is "(a)woke," meaning you are aware that the system does not favor certain individuals. The common example is white privilege (or more specifically, being aware that you have white privilege/it exists), but can also extend to sexual/gender orientation, disability, etc. For a fairly benign example, being "awoken" or "aware" that a building with all stairs and no elevators does not benefit those with physical disabilities. That's your baseline. Then it gets more complicated from there (for example, black people are more likely to be pulled over than white people, etc. -- the death penalty is slanted towards black people, you name it).

But then you get these social problems like this one which isn't really what I would consider "woke" because there are simpler solutions to them, unlike social justice, etc. which deal with the entire system. North Carolina is also home of the famous "bathroom bill" legislation, so this guy is a reaction to that. The simple solution, at least in schools, is one Nikki Haley claims to have come up with by herself: if you're a transgender student, simply use the bathroom in the principal's office or a private bathroom elsewhere in the school instead of "guessing" at which public bathroom you're supposed to use. Lots of other buildings have these too, a restroom with -one- toilet so that only -one- person can go in at a time. Sometimes in the staff area.

So the larger philosophical question here is whether things that deal with a specific group of people and calls for a specific solution that mostly exists -- is actually part of being "woke."

If you go back to the root cause, then yes, I am "woke" about this issue -- I'm aware that this is a complex societal issue that is not readily fixable in all locations -- but I am aware that a great many locations already had part of this solution well before transgender was even a movement. But does this make it "woke?" Not sure.

correct thats how it was way back in like the 1930s

in normal people terms it means dont be a dick and understand you cant just magically walk in another person shoes and too understand we all have issues
NOBODY should be agaisnt that

but currently the people that use it the most now just use it to describe anything they don't like

but that still leaves me in the spot where i cant think of a idea on the other side of arresting people based on gender identity/bathroom usage that mirrors it, especially one in equal numbers

Hahaha your solution is to allow anyone to use whatever bathroom they want at the expense of women’s safety and acting like women who are concerned about this are stupid.
Until the recent hoohaa most states did not have any legislation whatsoever.

At no point does it say a trans woman is a woman because they aren’t.
OK lets assume that for this instance: and? Are there any instances where this is an actual issue - aka has occurred and been noticed or a problem?
Again, this was perfectly fine in many if not most states, before both sides opened this new front in the culture wars.

For last sentence, my analysis says you're starting at the counter-movement, not the origin point.

Origin of his views starts with the so-called "bathroom bill" debacle. In summary, basically, the debate was over what bathrooms transgender individuals should use. The most extreme proponents of the bill argued that transgender individuals should be able to use whatever bathroom they choose (i.e., no "set" rule).

Enter the massive reaction on the right saying that now we're going to lock you up if you use the wrong bathroom and you're transgender. This guy is not the origin, but rather a reaction -to- the bathroom bill.

Are they exact 1:1? No. Are they close enough so you can see how one led to the other? Absolutely. Does it make the gubernatorial candidate right? No.

I agree with you on everything else you wrote.

There are quite a few cases of women being assaulted in the bathroom by someone claiming to be trans. There’s a “trans woman” who raped two women in prison and impregnated one of them. There’s a 50 year old male who now identifies as a 12 year old girl and is allowed to compete against them and change in the locker rooms with them in Canada. I don’t have a problem with a trans woman using the bathroom I just know how easily some sick pervert will take advantage of that situation. I believe there was no need for a law to be made before all this because no one expected this would be the issue of the day.

How does your plan to force guys to use the women's restroom solve these problems?

no you said this
"This guy seems anti-woke. But for every anti-woke politician in North Carolina, there are an equal number of super-liberal politicians who have ideas that are just as weird."
im trying to picture what that would be

on one side we have this guy who wants to arrest people based on their gender identy/bathroom use

what is on the other side of that that is just as weird

Enter the massive reaction on the right saying that now we're going to lock you up if you use the wrong bathroom and you're transgender. This guy is not the origin, but rather a reaction -to- the bathroom bill.

but thats my point his reaction is not the opposite its on some entirely different level
they are not close in anyway whatsoever, theres no logic to support such they are equal or close

i agree i see why/how the nutter had a meltdown but that doesn't make it equal or close . .

a person saying i think blacks should no longer be slaves and be seen as equal and then that triggering somebody to make a bill that would make them even lesser and 1/3rd of a man are not logically opposites or close . . .

Why not let all males in then? Maybe the separations of bathrooms are obsolete.
That's the case in many countries....tho it's more likely women going into the men's room since there's more of a line for the women's room.

You’re going to ignore the list of instances of people being found guilty of rape? Why would the number of times it happened matter? Aren’t rapes under reported? And at what number would you say, “ok we need to stop allowing trans women into women’s bathroom?
Rapes by hetero men.

Yeah, they do. They commit insane levels of crime, have severe sexuaully driven mental illness, already trans are per capita displacing white men as the number one source of mass shooters.
You're lying there. We see you.

Rapes by hetero men.
🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️again this isn’t an issue with trans people that I have. My worry is the sick hetero men who will use this as an easy opportunity to attack more women.

If you support perverts, such as people who believe they’re the other sex, in girls bathrooms then you support that
Perverts like hetero male rapists...those who brag about grabbing women by the pu&&y? And all the MAGAt cucks go "OOOOOooooooo!"

sooo once again by this broken logic we should ban all clergy and teachers from working with children because you know . . of all the people that pretend to be good and go into those fields but then turn out to be predators right

or is THAT magically different?
you are only ok with punishing trans people based on individual predators?
More children are groomed and sexually abused by so-called religious leaders.....and the Right is all in on them doing so.

How does your plan to force guys to use women's restrooms address your concerns about cis-hetero guys attacking women in those restrooms?

Can you explain?
or no?

There are quite a few cases of women being assaulted in the bathroom by someone claiming to be trans.
Cite a few then. Now compare it to the level of crime related from nonTrans in the same location.
There’s a “trans woman” who raped two women in prison and impregnated one of them. There’s a 50 year old male who now identifies as a 12 year old girl and is allowed to compete against them and change in the locker rooms with them in Canada. So...one?

Men should use women's bathroom? I say no if the individual passes all the visual male tests, especially if armed with a "tomahawk". If the individual passes all the visual female tests, then it should be left to go about its business
We’ve been through this, the only people you are going to punish is women who dont look passing.

A trans woman “feels” like a woman but factually isn’t. So why do we listen to those fantasies?
For the same reason we put up with your fantasies about an invisible sky daddy.
