Time for UK to toughen up on African immigration - we don't want them

I hardly hold the argument to be of much validity for justifying immigration either, yet it bears mentioning that many live under structural conditions of many natures that are a direct heirloom of colonial rule.

Iraq and Syria coming to mind just off the top of my head.

As far as immigration not being your problem, you are certainly free to exhibit absolutely no sense of social responsibility if you like, but
why you would feel such an intense sense of guilt over something that happened long in the past to the point you would justify the destruction of your very society is beyond me.

I am not a citizen of any of the European countries which have brought these immigration problems on themselves by their past colonization of Arab and African countries, if there's any guilt it belongs to those countries and I don't care how they deal with it. Not my problem.

It's too late. It was well known what Islamic intentions were decades ago and Qaddafi articulated the plan very well. Your title is very misleading. I do not know if this was your intention though. I came here believing that this was going to be why we need to destroy all blacks.

Yes, it did say if they are attacked in Libya they would respond by sending hundreds of thousands of migrants to Europe but no one has attacked Libya that I know of so this must be unrelated..They were probably just kidding about hiding terrorists among these refugees anyway. Their military will probably be dressed according to the Geneva Conventions.

And although Qaddafi predicted the Med would be a 'sea of chaos', only parts of it are actually in chaos. So, in traditional optimistic European fashion, there is really nothing to see here and next year everything will be better and everyone, Muslims and Atheists alike, will be holding hands and singing 'Ode To Joy' throughout the streets of western Europe.

You seem upset that you couldn't prove your statement. Rather than a juvenile reaction, why not provide facts to back up your statement?

Which part of the ISIS statements do you believe? None of them. some of them, or all of them? Do you believe this sudden surge of immigrants is spontaneous? What did you think of Qaddafi's speech on this subject?

Do you believe ISIS will follow conventional warfare?

and beyond that lies the false comparisons of the article, itself. Jews escaping the Nazis were a persecuted minority living within a host culture actively hostile towards their ethnicity. Those fleeing Syria are FROM the same culture as those they flee.

It is difficult to not have sympathy for them on an individual basis, but if the effect of importing so many, so fast is to also import the same culture as produced the hostility to begin with, then by sheer numbers, alone they also pose a threat because of their hostility towards liberal, western values. Along with the growing numbers of Muslims in Western Europe has come reduced levels of assimilation and it is the lack of assimilation that is the real problem.

A host community living in the 21st century with growing numbers of people wishing to live in the 7th is a recipe for disaster.

They have shown very little sign so far, the Geneva Convention would be something they would never consider for example.

ISIS have shown a huge opportunism in supporting and jumping on any bandwagon they can to raise their profile. They even claimed events in Ferguson, US were linked to them at one stage and at another asked blacks there to join with them. The refugee crisis has been a huge issue recently and they are playing on fears of a wave of potential jihadis coming across disguised as refugees. So far, those who have been to Syria and come back to actually cause trouble have come through Turkey as returning EU citizens.

That may not answer your questions but that's how I see the position.

well, imo europe, particularly western and northern europe, is the poster child for the consequences of unchecked immigration. if you think it's bad now, give it another generation.
