Hebron is a city of conflict and hate. it is a home of one of the first Israeli settlements in the West Bank. featuring interviews with both Israelis and Palestinians living in Hebron, as well as activists on both sides, members of the Israeli parliament and prominent Ha’aretz journalists.

Thanks Serenity, Jews for Justice in Palestine were highly recommending people watch this but with things in my personal life I forgot, so thanks for providing it here.

This is the problem. People must understand that in this situation you have only two camps, either you are for it or against it, in silence is being for it. Not everyone has to lead a life of resistance but everyone is obligated to stop being silent.

Jews have lived in Israel since at least 1200 BCE, verified by the archaeological record, nearly 2000 yearsbefore Mahomet was even born.

Jewish Patriarchs, not Muslim, are buried in Hebron

The jihadists of "Palestine" originated from Arabia and didn't arrive to "Palestine" until 636 CE, 2000 years after Jews had been living there.

Jews are the only People to have established a nation in Canaan/Judah/Israel and remain, today, the only surviving People from ancient times to retain a presence on the land.

Arabs and Muslims are interlopers and illegal aliens squatting on ancestral Jewish land.

and what is more interesting to note is how those who claim they stand for "justice" advocate positions where this land must remain completely free of Jews.

You can thank the original jihadist Mahomet for that, founder of the religion of "peace" who was so filled with rage against Jews, and, Christians and every other infidel, that on his deadbed, instead of expressing his love for his fellow Muhammadan, he cursed the Jew and Christian and demanded that Arabia, and by extension the Middle East, be ethnically cleansed of them.

Muwatta Imam Malik...
Umar b. Abd al-Aziz reported that the last statement made by the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) was: O Lord, perish the Jews and the Christians. They made churches of the graves of their Prophets. Beware, there should be no two faiths in Arabia.

Then explain the relative freedom that Jewish communities enjoyed in the Ottoman empire compared to the persecution and expulsion they faced under the Spanish and Russian. The expulsion of Jews from Spain, and the expulsion of Jews and Turks from Bulgaria is a case in point. Jews only began to encounter serious problems after the movement towards a Jewish state (where non Jews lived) began to develop.

"Relative" is the operative word. Relative to Jews having been murdered, oppressed and persecuted throughout the history of Islam.

And, there is nothing in the Christian Bible that decreed Spain's expulsion of Jews, while, Islamic literature is saturated with the demonization and intolerance of Jews

I've been to Hebron. The best one can say is that it's a third-world hellhole.

Thank the Muslims to whom Israel ceded most of it. When the Muslims controlled Jerusalem, under the Ottoman Turks and, later, under Jordan, Jerusalem languished as a urinal for Muslims.

It wasn't until Israel seized Jerusalem in 1967 that Israel brough Jerusalem back to its glory as the 3000 year Jewish capital.

Most of the Arab Muslim Middle East is decrepit

The Palestinians are descended mainly from the same population that have lived there for millennia. At one point their ancestors were likely Jews. Of course, that is just the cosmic irony of this whole conflict. When one looks at the history of the regions and its present state there are even interesting parallels. Gaza corresponds roughly to Philistia and the West Bank to Samaria. The history in those regions of both peoples' relations to the Jews and their ancestors the Hebrews has been one of resistance and ultimate subjugation by the Hebrews/Jews.

A weaker-minded person might conclude these people are simply falling back into their natural roles as oppressed and oppressors. One could speculate that somehow the Palestinians are just destined to be dominated and oppressed by the Jews and neglected by their neighbors. Perhaps it is their lot in life. Though, like I said, that would be the speculation of a weaker mind.

Such things only demonstrate to me a bizarre cultural tendency to fall back into ancestral habits because we refuse to break the chains on our minds.

Maybe, in the fictional PLO book of history.

Arabs first began calling themselves Palestinians in 1967. Prior to Israeli statehood, Jews were known as Palestinians.

The consensus of opinion among historians and archaeologists is Arab Palestinians originated from Arabia, like every other Arab.

There is absolutely no historical or archaeological evidence indicating an Arab presence in Canaan prior to the Arab invasion of 636 CE.

It is in the real books of history. Arab is just a linguistic category that does not reflect the genetic history of any given people. Egyptians, for instance, are basically no different genetically from the Ancient Egyptians. The Palestinians are the same way. Certainly Arab invasions caused some mixing in the population, but that is all. What they called themselves is quite irrelevant to their bloodline.

Which brings us back to the notion of "pure blood" I've heard that somewhere in the history books back then in the 30s and 40s

No, it is not. You made it up. Arabs first called themselves Palestinians in 1967.

Total nonsense. Arabs are designated by those who speak Arabic and who originated from Arabia.

Not so complicated, after all.

Incorrect. The Philistines' presence in Philistia was limited to the Gaza region and did not extend to "the West Bank" and Samaria.

The Philistines were of Aegean descent, not Arab, originating from Crete and mainland Greece [Achaea]. Hence, their name "The Sea People," referring to the Mediterranean Sea.

Arabs, such as Palestinian Arabs, originated from the Arabian desert, not the sea.

You should also know that Judah/Judea, the correct historic geographical names of the land, was renamed "The West Bank" by King Hussein in 1949 when Jordan ilegally seized the land.

Now, you do know.

I came back from the Hebron area yesterday. I have to say, its hardly what I expected it to be, 1st of all the checkpoints that I remembered from my last visit at the west bank ~3 years ago are all gone, road 60 is filled with Palestinian vehicles, brand new vehicles I might add. The housing conditions which were painted in this thread as horrible are far from it, luxirious villas are spread allover the Hebron mount area, luxirious condos are overlooking road 35 from Hebron (I was sure it was Kiryat Arba settlement at first). Its clear that since Palestinians neglected violence their condition improved immensly.

Heres a picture from Bani Naim "refugee camp":

Do you actually believe that stuff about the Palestinians coming from Arabia in 636? Because it is not really true.DNA evidence says they are descended from the people of the Levant amongst others.
