Earlier in the hearing, Biden said he thought mandatory busing had "repercussions" in terms of the "ultimate objective of seeing that we get integrated neighborhoods, of seeing that we eventually eliminate job discrimination, of seeing that we change housing patterns, of seeing alteration of the tax structure."

Based on the transcript, the headline of the article on Team Trump USA is true — he did say integration via mandatory busing would create a "racial jungle."

However, the claim that Biden said "I don't want my children to grow up in a jungle, a racial jungle" is false. There is no evidence Biden made that particular remark.

After hearing some of the parents comments at these school board meetings by regular moms and dads, I have to call BS on all the "There's no CRT here!" garbage. It's just another lie. Reminds me of the "We aren't for open borders!" lie.

I tell students that I am part of the dominant white culture and it has given me an advantage that students of color do not have.

I show them a redlined map of our city and where I grew up. It shows that the neighborhood I grew up in had homes that the real estate industry saw as growing in equity, and that banks were willing to give low interest loans to buy. I show them the redlined areas where all the black people lives and that the color meant that the industry saw them as risky and not growing in equity. Thus, they could not sell their homes and move to the burgeoning suburbans and often had to take out risky high-interest loans to purchase their homes in neighborhoods where they were not increasing in equity.

CRT? Good or bad thing for students to learn?

The Republican Party is in the grip of grassroots Trump supporters with limited education and little understanding of what is happening around them.

The Republican Party gets its support from the rural counties of America. For the most part they are farmers, ranchers and rural shopkeepers with limited education. They don't know the truth about their party, they don't know what Trump has said and done, and they don't want to know. Theirs is a blind loyalty to Trump very similar to a cult.

I think it also has to do with a deep mistrust of any position that is considered "Liberal"... even positions that would benefit them.

This mistrust... imo... was intentional and took decades to foment for the express purpose of benefiting rich weirdo John Birchers.

Most of us didn’t vote “for Biden”. We voted against Trump. If Trump wasn’t the GOP candidate, Biden would have never gotten a vote from me.
