The meltdown has been epic

Keith Olbermann

@KeithOlbermann

It has become necessary to dissolve the Supreme Court of the United States. The first step is for a state the "court" has now forced guns upon, to ignore this ruling. Great. You're a court? Why and how do think you can enforce your rulings? #IgnoreTheCourt

Keith , you are always so level headed.
NYUK NYUK NYUK

To be fair, that was the plan, wasn't it? To get the Trump hearings/crimes out of the headlines?

That SCOTUS was so blatantly political in aiding Trump like this is worth some degree of rather grave concern.
Nothing get by you, does it? LAFFRIOT

The drama queening and hyperbole have off the charts. Not just here but all over social media. ‘The justices lied!!!!!’ ‘They’re gonna take away everything!!!!’

When you have one side that only understands and responds to brute force...its just a matter of time until the side that prefers reason and dialogue has to respond in kind. We're getting there.
Oh, my!

Here Are All The Times Brett Kavanaugh Said He Likes Beer At His Senate Hearing On Sexual Assault Allegations

www.buzzfeednews.com
"Yes, we drank beer. ... Boys and girls. Yes, we drank beer. I liked beer. Still like beer. We drank beer."

"...worked with and played with and coached with and dated and taught and gone to games with and had beers with..."

"...playing basketball, or hanging out and having some beers with friends as we talked about life and football and..."

"or just to meet up and have some beers, but none of those gatherings included the group of people that Dr. Ford has identified."

"I drank beer with my friends. ..Sometimes I had too many beers. Sometimes others did. I liked beer. I still like beer, but I did not drink beer to the point of ..and I never sexually assaulted anyone."

"Yes, we drank beer. .. Yes, we drank beer. I liked beer. Still like beer. We drank beer."

"And we — yeah, we drank beer ..sometimes probably had too many beers and sometimes other people had too many beers," Kavanaugh said.

"We drank beer and still do. So whatever, yeah."

“I like beer. I don’t know if you do. .. I got a weak stomach, whether it's with beer ..or anything."

".. I think you've probably had beers, Senator."

From the September 12, 1991, hearing (accessed from the Nexis database, emphasis added):
....
SEN. KOHL: All right, that's good. Judge Thomas, if I understand you correctly, you are going to leave behind almost all of your views about what type of society we ought to be and what type of policies we ought to apply... if you do leave so much of this behind, what's left?

JUDGE THOMAS: "Though it may sound rather strange to some individuals, the kind of fighting and infighting and certainly the difficulty of battle, those kinds of battles in the political process I think are wearing, and so it's not the confrontation that I ever relished or enjoyed. In fact, that is the opposite of my personality. I like to try to find consensus. So I don't miss and did not miss on this court having those kinds of battles. We have reasoned, constructive debate on the court.

... I am concerned about the kids who didn't have the strong grandfather and strong grandparents to help them out of what I would consider a terrible, terrible fate. But you carry that feeling with you. You carry that strength with you. You carry those experiences with you. I don't think you have to carry the battles with you. It's a different way."

2 Years After His Bruising Hearing, Justice Thomas Can Rarely Be Heard (Published 1993)

By Neil A. Lewis

"...That notion is reinforced by the accounts of several former law clerks at the Supreme Court who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Last year, his second full year on the Court, Justice Thomas began inviting clerks from other justices' chambers to meet with him, sometimes over lunch...

Hope for Long Tenure

Last year, in a conversation with two of his own law clerks, recent law school graduates chosen for their conservative views, Justice Thomas said he intended to remain on the Court until the year 2034.

Why that long? one asked. Because that would give him a 43-year term, he replied, according to the clerk's account, explaining, "The liberals made my life miserable for 43 years, and I'm going to make their lives miserable for 43 years."

Immediately after the confirmation fight, Mrs. Thomas gave an interview to People magazine describing what she and her husband had just gone through. In the article, in the issue of Nov. 11, 1991,...

"Clarence will give everyone a fair day in court," Mrs. Thomas said. "But I feel he doesn't owe any of the groups who opposed him anything."

Your side stormed the bloody capital building so you can't claim to be innocent.
You are correct. They never have, and never will.

Did they? According to whom? Do you really find leftist filth to be credible, considering their propensity for dishonesty? What does that say about you?

It keeps getting worse . Drinks beer AND a bunch of left wing professors don't like him!!!!
How is this rapist still a judge???

Where's your care for "families" now? Orphanages are not families.
You ever read the Bible?

James 1:27 I only care about orphans and widows and keeping myself free from the troubled of the world

Think about it......they actually support the killing of babies. Sick people.....really.....sick in the head.
And the right doesn’t give a **** once the kid is born.

Kids mowed down in school by a person with a gun? Hey! Don’t you dare take away the right to a gun. 2A for life!

Unless it comes to school lunch, then let those ****ers starve.
Why are you quoting me? You read my thread on the subject

Psychos, criminals and all around lowlife's don't give a damn about any gun law. You are just attempting to use a bad situation to remove guns from law abiding citizens homes.....this is the left's way, predictable and well known. Hell, they argue about law abiding citizens carrying a gun to defend oneself, yet release murderers, armed robbers, and all around lowlife thugs on a daily basis back on the street to continue.......start using your energy on the ones who need imprisoned and get your paws off the rights of law abiding citizens.

This rivals 2016 election night for howling at the moon insanity.

I doN't want to remove guns from homes. Can you point out where I specifically stated that?

I'm pointing out as soon as Uvalde happened, the right immediately ran to "The left wants to take our guns!" instead of feeling really awful that innocent kids were needlessly murdered.

But they did lie. They clearly indicated that they viewed Roe v Wade as settled law, as a precedent. Amy Coney Barrett left the door open a little, I suppose but said herself she pledged to respect the principle of stare decisis - she did not.

They all blatantly lied in their senate confirmation hearings. They knew damn well they were going to rule against abortion rights if it ever came up, but unequivocally testified the opposite. Lying to the Senate is unethical, and depending on the context, illegal.

I can only hope that Democrats get a supermajority so that they have the ability to impeach and remove every one of them. Realistically, that won't happen, but it should.

I don't have to deal with it, I am not a birthing person
We know.
Further proof right wingers are so devoid of empathy that they don’t actually believe other people possess it. Right wingers fake their empathy so they assume everyone else does.

Also, it’s hilarious that men think abortion can’t affect them. Same people will complain that child support is unfair.

If that's true were are all the atheist homeless shelters, soup kitchens , orphanages? Trying to get the left to give to charity is like throwing a man hole cover, that's why they always confuse charity with taxes

Confuse. Indeed. I'm guessing that "moment of clarity" mentioned by @Logician Man is far, far away.
