I disagree with your overall sentiment regarding Obama, though i agree he is impaired in the strategy department.

he is actively fighting ISIS... he's tactically involved, though strategically limited... and while not totally bereft, he doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to fight them in the manner i personally think should be done.
in short, he's no Truman.. he's no FDR... he's no Kennedy , Johnson... or Dubya
he's like Carter.... great dude, decent head on his shoulders... but when boldness is needed, he just isn't the guy to call.

I'd wager all of my wealth that he hates ISIS as much as i do, though.

for the record, i agree with you... I don't feel the need to utterly dissociate the religion from the terrorist, though i do find it necessary to differentiate between the violent extremists and the mainstream adherents when applicable.
it's entirely possible to be accurate without succumbing to PC nonsense.
