The latino bike gangs tend to have some black members and such. They are much more mixed race but predominantly latino. There's this one biker gang that is known for kissing each other on the mouth as a greeting. Not sensually just as their bro-hug thing. They aren't gay so I can't help but think it's baiting for a fight just itching for someone to say something out loud so they can get their ass stomped into the ground.
these sorts of battles happen all over the united states... though this one is sizable and dramatic enough to find wide media coverage.
you usually don't hear about the 1 or 2 outlaw bikers found dead here and there.... but they are all part of the same war.
The local news (Channel 12 Cincinnati, CBS) is reporting the following
1) the Twin Peaks establishment has been ordered to stop serving booze for a week
2) the parent company is severing some ties with it
3) "the police are ARMED AND READY" for any potential retaliation
4) it is UNCLEAR if those killed were killed by the police or other bikers or a combination thereof
What I have heard it was 4 of the 9 dead bikers were shot by police.

Yeah that's probably true. Here in the MW I have seen AA bike gangs but almost all of the criminal activity tends to be white bikers-at least from the reports I have seen. Of course basic drug running, weapons violations etc doesn't get much press. its mainly when say the Iron Horsemen have their hangouts shot up by the Invaders and then retaliation follows that gets major press coverage

The motorcycle gangs of Texas (actually the Bandidos are an international gang with branches in Europe, South and Central America) can't hold a candle to the gang bangers of Detroit, Baltimore, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, etc.. Gang murders and shootouts in those cities barely even make the news any more. Since the Waco fight three gang bangers have already been killed in Chicago, and that goes on all year.
Such events are notable for their rarity in Texas. In the blue cities they are so prevalent it's just business as usual and nobody pays any attention.
