Palin didn't cost McCain the election. He was never going to win. Heck, McCain could have had Jesus as a running mate and he still would have lost.

No, my dear, what cost McCain the election was:

1. Liberals painting Bush in the worst light possible.
2. Liberals successfully connecting McCain to Bush.
3. The liberal media deciding that Obama was going to win...and doing everything in their power to make it so.

Palin was just icing on the liberal cake of smears, ridicule and lies...that is all.

The problem for liberals...if Cruz should decide to run in 2016...is that he cannot be connected to any conservative politician that liberals have successfully run through the dirt. That won't, however, stop them from trying...as we've seen in this thread and in the media. Still, it won't be a walk in the park for either side as it was for the liberals in 2008.

Okay...you're right...I forgot what some have said about his lack of eligibility. Makes no difference, though. Liberals still see him as a threat and their primary reaction is to smear and ridicule. Problem is...it's not working so well for them.
