While I won't claim to speak broadly for "the left", I've already been to no less than three public demonstrations, including one in front of Fox's NewsCorp building on 6th Ave, where I was accused of being louder than the people using a bullhorn (I was!) and the one big march that started at the NYC Public Library and went up to Central Park.

We all need to get out and do more and more of this.

Apropos of which, I've just been texted by someone who wants to give me a lift to a "No Kings" rally tomorrow in Paramus New Jersey.
I've protested with her in NYC before, and she finds my vocal volume entertaining.

Most folks didn’t buy this protect democracy last year, they saw that as just another political propaganda campaign rhetoric or slogan. I doubt they’re buying into your protect the constitution either. To many if not most, what protect the constitution means is put us, the democrats back in power. The continental army was raised - a joining of independent volunteers and militias - to oppose a King. Average people, joining together - for a cause.
