Support the Constitution! Show up and rally Saturday

"I always wanted to get the Purple Heart. This was much easier." ~ Commander in Chief "Bone Spurs" Trump - August 2nd, 2016.

Yep - may as well spit in veterans faces.

Without a detailed list of the jobs being cut, this is just more propaganda.

Lazy. Did you even ready any of it?

You don’t have to do any of that. All you need to do is be there to provide a little cover for everyone that will burn, loot, and chuck rocks.
You mean the MAGAt agent provocateurs.

MAGAts support King TACO.

Rejected 4 years earlier in a corrupted election cycle. Basement campaigns and closing down life in America. It worked once, not again.
Okay, but Trump came close to being rejected for a second time. Winning the popular vote by 1.5 points. This when a sitting president had only a 39% overall job approval. The GOP should have won in a landslide ALA 1980 when Jimmy Carter’s numbers were almost identical to Biden’s. Only the nomination of Trump prevented a republican landslide.

Compare: Carter’s overall job approval 37%, Biden’s 39%. Reagan won the popular vote by 10 points, Trump by 1.5. Electoral votes which the GOP is so fond of citing instead of the popular vote, Reagan 489, Trump 312. States won, Reagan 44, Trump 31. The GOP gained 35 house seats in 1980, the republicans lost TWO house seats last year. Showing how close last year’s election actually was. The GOP gained 12 senate seats in 1980, last year they gained 4.

History was on the Republicans side; no sitting president had won reelection nor has that sitting president’s replacement won the election when a sitting president had an overall job approval of below 50%. The list.

1952 Truman 33%, his replacement Stevenson lost to Eisenhower

1968 LBJ 43%, his replacement Humphrey lost to Nixon

1976 Ford 45%, Ford lost reelection to Carter

1980 Carter 37%, Carter lost reelection to Reagan

1992 G.H.W. Bush 34%, Bush lost reelection to Bill Clinton

2008 G.W. Bush 28%, his replacement McCain lost to Obama

2020 Trump 43%, Trump lost reelection to Biden

2024 Biden 39%, his replacement Harris lost to Trump.

I’m also not into any partisan old wife’s tales, conspiracy theories. I go by facts and numbers.

How is it an act of supporting democracy when the intent is to show solidarity with criminality?

We HAVE no democracy without securing our borders.

Really?

You are going to denounce authoritarianism one the Army's 250th birthday?

Is this a race to see just how despicable the left can get?
Yes, of course.
We seniors, plus the veterans that'll be there tomorrow, are despicable. We began with Nixon's inauguration marching with Veterans for Peace. BTW, it helped end the war.

Free masks, rocks, concrete blocks, frozen water bottles, high explosive fireworks hidden in the right places, Antifa brothers and sisters will be there.....it should be a hoot, come one come all.

Bring your own hotdogs for the cookout on police vehicles and local businesses. Time to release the pent-up anger and frustrations, let loose and feel the power of mob-rule and the power of intimidation.

Just pretend you're anti-fascist and fight against the Big Orange Man we've created in your mind. We have you in our power and control, don't worry as you'll be safe, as we have your back.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:.....this is what's really gonna happen. Of course, all said in jest of our radical leftists.

That's the sickest post I've ever read.

Is there no one not pressing for all out war?

You won’t get any bites from the left here. They have a laundry list of excuses for why they can’t come out from behind their keyboards.
I'm going to be at Houston City Hall tomorrow morning. I'm bringing 4 flags. I plan on posting pics here, so stay tuned.

Well, that sounds like bullshit to me. While I won't claim to speak broadly for "the left", I've already been to no less than three public demonstrations, including one in front of Fox's NewsCorp building on 6th Ave, where I was accused of being louder than the people using a bullhorn (I was!) and the one big march that started at the NYC Public Library and went up to Central Park.

We all need to get out and do more and more of this.

It is an honor to know you sir

I wish (almost) I could be there. But it's sunny and a breezy 72 degrees here on the Canadian west coast and we're all OK with the government we have....so far.

Besides himself dodging the draft with concocted "bone spurs", Trump has mocked the military his entire life, calling those who have died in our wars, including Vietnam vets, "losers". Your faux outrage at people who would stage a protest during his multi-million$-dollar dog-and-pony show birthday party rings as hollow as the heart of the man whose reputation you are so desperate to defend.

Considering his well documented record, I find all of your knee-jerk defenses of Donald J. Trump to be, in your own words, anti-American, disgraceful, pathetic, and very much no different than spitting in veteran's faces. As someone who claims to be a veteran, I wonder why you do it.

🤷‍♂️

So who is that in LA?

How impactful do you think massive peaceful protests would be?
History teaches us they can have an effect. "Massive peaceful protests" during the Vietnam war resulted in changing public sentiment, and created political pressure, both of which at least contributed to ending the war, augmented of course by our military's failure to defeat the North.

How impactful do you think massive peaceful protests would be?

Ask Ghandi. I'm sure he'd say they can be pretty impactful.

Then again, it is America. Probably best to let the peaceful protests work. I don't think what comes next would be preferable.

And I almost wish I could be there - wandering out to the beaches around Vancouver Island at low tide, and digging oysters. It's been over 50 years since I was last out that way.

Enjoy your weekend.

(Be sure to bring your firebombs, chunks of concrete, and wear your masks.) Always seems this is the understood part not spoken. Peaceful protest never seem to make it when the democrat supports show up.
ICE aren't invited!

As one who has breathed tear gas in the name of American liberty I'm pretty sure peaceful protest are a complete waste of ****ing time.

Nothing changes if nothing burns

Strolled back from Granville Island with two dozen spot prawns, still alive. Right off the fish boats! AND, cheaper than hot dogs

I truly love this place and always have since the first time I set foot here in the late 70's

And everyone is cool and friendly. No politics. No demonstrations. No protest just the annoyance of a Tesla now and then....no other annoyances.

Well, here's hoping it doesn't get to that. You don't win over people with fire, you only drive the conflict to the point where only bloody resolution is possible. I don't really cheer for that, no matter how much I understand the trajectory.

That's my feelings after the destructive protests for the last 8 years.

That's what I saw in 1967.

The two sides were digging in and it was only a matter of time.

That was the "Summer of Love" and the start of the hippy movement. It was my exposure to '67 San Fransisco that led to me vacating the USA for "home".

I made a point of burning my draft card half way across the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls.

People cheered
