Most current polls have these two squared up against one another in the primaries. Let's fast-forward to the primary vote and assume that we've had no further entries into the race. If one of these two were pegged to win, which would you rather have in the general election, and why?

Who would win a debate between them, and why?
Who would take Iowa and New Hampshire, if you had to guess, and why?
Who would you rather see debate Obama, and why?
Who do you think would run the more honest campaign, and why?

I don't believe she will be a candidate, but if she were:

Who would win a debate between them?
Romney

Who would take Iowa and New Hampshire, if you had to guess?
Toss up

Who would you rather see debate Obama?
Sarah

Who do you think would run the more honest campaign?
Both would run clean campaigns.

Forgive me if I want the 2012 presidential campaign to be more like last years NBA playoffs than this years.

Editted to encourage more detailed answers. (buttheads)

lol. I was just hoping for more detail. I'm fine with you picking Romney. At least you aren't the rabid Obama-nut dying for Sarah because you want a blow-out at the polls.

sorry I just have an aversion to watching stupid on the television. Jersey Shore was enough.

Okay, in seriousness my answers to all are Romney, except Iowa and New Hampshire. That's a tossup.

I'm ashamed to admit, but I can't not watch Jersy Shore. It's like a really horrific car accident. You don't really want to look, but you can't stop yourself.

Romney

Iowa- Palin
New Hampshire- Romney

Who would you rather see debate Obama, and why?

Romney because I think he would handle himself better and the media frenzy would not be as big.

Who do you think would run the more honest campaign, and why?

It is politics, honest campaigning does not exist.

find a better poll/article. That liberal rag washington compost is full of lies.

It is a left wing rag. It is done with ABC also leftwing. This tells me they had no way to fudge the numbers in Obama's favor

no, it's all a trick. they are trying to lure GOP voters into a false sense of security. those liberal pollsters are sneaky bastards you can't trust them.

Nice try but liberals aren't that smart

I wouldn't say that at all...I think both sides are very clever at campaigning and manipulating voters. I would venture to say the liberals were even better at it than the conservatives in 2008.

and they lost all that mojo after Obama become President.

This is not 2008 and Obama has way more negatives now than positives. In 2008 people voted for Obama and knew nothing about him or his politics

And yet his poll numbers still push him ahead of every single republican candidate. We can't sit here and chuckle thinking anybody is a shoe-in to beat Obama. The smart strategy involves selecting a candidate who will appeal to independents. Sarah Palin doesn't do that. We can't win against Obama w/o independents.
