You might be right... but Richardson deserves some credit here. It is extremely rare that a Democrat removes him or herself from office or a prized appointment just because there is an air of corruption hanging over his/her head (e.g. Blagojevich, Frank, Dodd, CLINTONs, Jefferson, etc.) It helps to have a sympathetic press behind your side!

Or, Hillary is playin' a lil' get-back. Or, Obama's people picked up on it and decided to manage it before it started managing them and told Richardson to play it this way. Or, or...... the conspiracy theories are sure to come out of the woodwork soon.

My guess is that the Clinton's are behind it. :mrgreen:

About the first thing I thought of after hearing this was... The Clintons.

Richardson really pissed off the Clintons by endorsing Obama, and after Bill spent a lot of time on the phone with the Governor trying to prevent the defection.

Could this be their payback moment? It smells like it.

It's in their DNA.

As for the accusations of corruption...

Welcome to Washington President Elect Obama.

As I have said before our political system is the joke of the world. It was not intended to be a 2 party system.

In the end we really do get the government we deserve.

It is pretty amazing to me how hypocritical Republicans and Democrats are.

Please can someone explain to me the difference? I mean we just had 8 years of a Republican and I saw nothing conservative about his administration. I saw entitlements increased as well as the bloated government itself. More regulations on buisness, the suspension of Habeas corpus, I mean please! That is conservative????

So someone please tell me how Barrack Obama will be any different?
 
He will be different because he will massively expand different areas of the government. Look for bloated social programs to replace bloated security programs

Ironically, both of these things often come at the expense of social security programs. :mrgreen:
