This applies to the following:

Moon landing hoax

anti-vaxxers

young-earth creationists

flat earthers

Climate change denial

anti-GMO sentiment

some secret cure is being suppressed / the cure is alternate remedies

Denialism is when you deny something, no matter what. Skepticism is always healthy, denialism is not. Skepticism is the willingness to reject certain ideas. This must also be accompanied by open mindedness which is the willingness to accept new ideas, otherwise it becomes denialism.
