Putin agrees to ceqse fire. This should make the left angry. TRUMP DID IT

Putin's motivation doesn't matter.

His invasion, attacks, occupation, brutalization are illegal, no matter how you slice and dice it.

And his kidnapping of Ukrainian children? A war crime.

Too, the kidnapping of children is one of the pillars of genocide.

What is your point?

Have you read the views of why Putin did it outside of the propaganda you maintain?

Here it is again:

There is no point in debating whether Putin is justified for his genocide in Ukraine. That would be ludicrous. Genocide is what the Nazi's did and Hitler also claimed he was protecting German speakers when invaded Poland and Czechoslovakia. Genocide is never justifiable unless you are flaming fascist.

do you get Ukraine is a different then the Baltics towards Russia? Russia and Ukraine are many close ties

then NATO expansion NEVER matters

what? stick to the topic
LOL Yes Stalin's invasion of Ukraine and subsequent murder of millions of Ukrainians really brought them together. Whatever love Ukrainians ever had for Russia has vanished like the towns and cities Putin has leveled. They HATE Russia with a passion you will never understand. They will kill every Russian invader without compassion and with glee. They will never stop as long as Russians exist within their borders.

It may sound hyperbolic but it's true. Just like Ukraine has made this video from 3 years ago true.

I do love Ukrainians.

Some people clown. Some people do psycho shit to their enemies. Some people never forgive.

The Venn diagram convergence on those three things is Ukraine.

America has a lot to learn from Ukraine. We will need some of their guts to do what we need to do to stop Musk and Thiel from implementing the "Dark Enlightenment". They went from a peaceful farming nation to having the most powerful army in europe in 3 years.

Dark Enlightenment

Beliefs

Central to Nick Land's ideas is a belief in freedom's incompatibility with democracy, having stated "Democracy tends to fascism".[12] Land drew inspiration from libertarians such as Peter Thiel, particularly Thiel's claim that "I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible", in his essay The Dark Enlightenment.[12][19][20] The Dark Enlightenment has been described by journalists and commentators as alt-right and neo-fascist.[3][21] A 2016 article in New York magazine notes that "Neoreaction has a number of different strains, but perhaps the most important is a form of post-libertarian futurism that, realizing that libertarians aren't likely to win any elections, argues against democracy in favor of authoritarian forms of government."[22]

I was an admin on a Discordian forum about ten years ago and some idiot came in jabbering about this shit.

It was a sight to behold. There were about 100 active users at the time and it was like watching feeding time at the zoo. The poor bastard never knew what hit him.

Russia has the upper hand in Kursk. Putin clearly feels he is negotiating from a position of strength and doesn't want to lose it.
"If we stop military actions for 30 days, what does that mean? Will everyone who is there leave the battle?"

Russia's defence ministry announced on Thursday that its forces had now taken full control of the biggest city the Ukrainians had managed to seize, Sudzha. Putin says all the Ukrainians have left is a wedge, so why would Russia stop now?

"If a physical blockade occurs in the coming days, no-one will be able to leave at all. There will be only two options – to surrender or die."
The same applied to the whole of the 1,000km (620-mile) front line, where he claimed the situation on the ground was changing rapidly, with Russian troops "advancing in practically all areas".That is not the case, as most of the front is at a stalemate, even if Russia has had some recent success in the east.

Putin believes a 30-day ceasefire would deprive Russia of its advantage and enable the Ukrainians to regroup and rearm.
"What are our guarantees that nothing like that will be allowed to happen," he asked rhetorically.

As yet, no mechanism has been offered to ensure that the terms of any ceasefire would hold.

So?
Russia is in Ukraine with the stronger hand. Ukraine is not in Russia with the stronger hand.
Why should Russia give up it's hard won gains?

Not only that. A point that eludes our pompous clowns on the pro Kyiv side of the aisle is that the party with the stronger hand always demands a priori that the party with the weaker hand cannot improve its military situation during a ceasefire. That by itself guaranteed that Russia was going to punt the ball back to Rubio.

Now its not Rubio's job to offer a guarantee to Russia that Zelensky will not take advantage of the ceasefire to replenish his battered Bandera Divisions. It is for Russians to ask. Which they have done.

Here it gets tricky. The Americans can offer not to replenish Zelensky's Bandera goons. Fine. But the Russians will point out that the English*, French are vowing to do exactly that. In which case it would be silly for Russians to stand down while the English and French arm up Zelensky's Waffen SS.

Maybe it's about time Trump sends an envoy to the Eu to sound them out on possible ceasefire. This envoy will also carry a stick: heavy tariffs if the English play any games.

*I think I prefer to call the United Kingdom England. As opposed to Britishland. Everyone in Britishland, expect the English, seems to be fixing to bolt. The Scots all but bolted, held back only by the ankles. Belfast has over time appeared to soften to Dublin. The only folks showing zero desire to bolt appear to be the English and recently arrived Mahometans. A match made in heaven. If I was still a drinking man I would have emptied a gallon to England. But with what? Heineken is Irish. Johnnie Walker is Irish. What? After decades of drinking I can't recall a brand associated with England? And I am not going to insult English hooligans by drinking to England with Heineken. O dear!

The country that needs to have starving North Korean conscripts to fight for them has the “stronger hand”?

And where did you see a starving North Korean?

It’s not just Ukraine. Russia is demanding to be able to control how much all of their neighbors can spend on their militaries.

Where did you get that from?

Except that Ukraine hasn't surrendered, conditionally, or any other way.

The trip to Saudi Arabia by Ukraine was a surrender trip. I understand Zelensky the Penniless had to sign away Ukraine's minerals in exchange for not much from Trump. Poor guy.

So we SHOULD send US troops too, then.

No. But English, French, Polish, Baltic troops can offer be sent. They are unmatched in their hatred for Russians
