I don't begrudge his book writing. Most of them have done that. And I have never bought a single president or ex-president written book. *shrug*

The Los Angeles Times is reporting the Obamas are in the process of buying this home in Rancho Mirage.
The $4.5 million estate has a three-bedroom guest house, a gym, a pool with a 20-foot waterfall and its own putting green.
The White House denies the rumors, but a real estate agent tells the Los Angeles Times that the deal could be done by the end of the month.

I'm more interested in what is wrong with people who see no connection between the following two things:

(1) Obama is the first black President.

(2) Obama is the only President ever in our nation's history to be accused of being (a) a closet muslim, (b) lying about his place of birth, (c) racist against white people, (d) bent on turning America into a third world country, (e) because he in fact hates America, (f) a socialist, (g) a communist, (h) a dictator, etc etc etc.




Then again, said people are also the same people who always use cries of "race card" to try to stamp out any discussion of the possible continuing existence of racism in America. So maybe I already know the answer regarding what I said I was "interested in" at the beginning of this post.

It is not his color, it is what he does and says that makes him to appear to be all those things. Apart from the birth certificate which is now a moot point I can see reasons that are very valid.

Somebody asks me me to see my birth certificate, 5 minutes later they have it . Shrug shoulders. No big deal. When that does NOT happen, people naturally assume you have something to hide.
