President Obama: Michelle & I Are Gonna Be Renters

By any and all means, feel free to explain, to elaborate, to show I am ignorant of US historical race relations......whereas you are spot on by saying that it took years before there was negative reactions from US whites against the negro in the WH....and it only happened because of what he said.

So you are advancing the narrative the country did not accept Obama because he was black. The white vote in 2008 makes that statement horse****. And the years he served and passed one of the most unpopular laws in our history he still wasn't liked because he was black? Gimme a break.

The bold part of your post I never said. What is with you people? And again his not condemning BLM is another jab in the eye of unity.

I suppose I thought that maybe the further away they got, the quicker our nation's pain and suffering could heal!

Our nation is looking a hell of a lot better than on the day he took office. (But no need to reply with the completely unproven but repeated-until-believed mantra that it would have been even better had McCain and the Dingbat Queen been in the hot seat)

The bold part of your post I never said. What is with you people?

I'm more interested in what is wrong with people who see no connection between the following two things:

(1) Obama is the first black President.

(2) Obama is the only President ever in our nation's history to be accused of being (a) a closet muslim, (b) lying about his place of birth, (c) racist against white people, (d) bent on turning America into a third world country, (e) because he in fact hates America, (f) a socialist, (g) a communist, (h) a dictator, etc etc etc.

Then again, said people are also the same people who always use cries of "race card" to try to stamp out any discussion of the possible continuing existence of racism in America. So maybe I already know the answer regarding what I said I was "interested in" at the beginning of this post.

And I was hoping the Obamas would move as far away from Washington DC as geographically possible__oh well!
I suppose I thought that maybe the further away they got, the quicker our nation's pain and suffering could heal!

President Obama: Michelle & I Are Gonna Be Renters | TMZ.com
5/25/2016 1:10 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
"President Obama won't be getting outta Dodge after the election, instead he and the First Lady are moving just a couple miles from the White House ... into a rental crib.
The Prez and Michelle Obama reportedly signed the lease on an 8,200 sq foot Tudor-style home in nearby Kalorama -- a quiet Georgetown-adjacent 'hood. Barack and Michelle are sticking around the Beltway so Sasha can finish high school.

Wouldn't Southern California have been more suitable to their radical progressivism and flamboyant lifestyle?!
What happened to this beautiful home in Rancho Mirage, California they were looking at a couple years ago?! :(

White House Denies Obamas Are California Dreamin'
Monday, July 21, 2014

The Los Angeles Times is reporting the Obamas are in the process of buying this home in Rancho Mirage.
The $4.5 million estate has a three-bedroom guest house, a gym, a pool with a 20-foot waterfall and its own putting green.
The White House denies the rumors, but a real estate agent tells the Los Angeles Times that the deal could be done by the end of the month.

The perfect place for him Robert Reich and Paul Krugman to host a series of lectures on income inequality. LAFF riot.

And, if they can get the 64 gazillion BTU air conditioniing to work-the perfect place to host a series of lectures with Leo diCaprio on the perils of climate change. ( is that yacht accessible? or do you have to chopper in? ) HAR HAR

It is not his color, it is what he does and says that makes him to appear to be all those things. Apart from the birth certificate which is now a moot point I can see reasons that are very valid.

He brought all the birth certificate nonsense on himself, by not being forthright.
Somebody asks me me to see my birth certificate, 5 minutes later they have it . Shrug shoulders. No big deal. When that does NOT happen, people naturally assume you have something to hide.

They will be renting until one of the kids is done with HS. Any responsible parent would do that. No?

So you are advancing the narrative the country did not accept Obama because he was black.
I'm advancing the argument that a significant portion of the US holds racist views
The white vote in 2008 makes that statement horse****.
He has LESS than a majority of white voters in both elections.
And the years he served and passed one of the most unpopular laws in our history he still wasn't liked because he was black? Gimme a break.
Non-sequitur, the question was is he hated because he is a negro, his SIGNING the PPACA did not cause LESS racial animosity towards him. I would argue it only caused racists to hate him more.

The bold part of your post I never said.
Yes, you said he was not hated until he made comments YEARS into his holding office.
What is with you people?
LOL...you people!
And again his not condemning BLM is another jab in the eye of unity.
Another example of something years into his administration....in fact his second administration! He wasn't hated until years later!

And I was hoping the Obamas would move as far away from Washington DC as geographically possible__oh well!
I suppose I thought that maybe the further away they got, the quicker our nation's pain and suffering could heal!

Obama could publicly state that "2 + 2 = 4" and some people would be mad.

They're renting for a year, so their kid can finish high school. OH THE HORROR!!!

You ought to see how many times you can use "hate" in your next post. No point in explaining anything like an ideological difference to you. In fact, you might hate that.:lamo

Yeah....by getting elected. It was the negro's fault.

No. By weighing in on Trayvon Martin, by bad mouthing Cambridge police, by letting Holder selectivly prosecute or not prosecute civil rights cases(Black Panthers in Phiily, not procecuted), and by sending WH officials to Michael Browns funeral like he was a victim. Not to mention his go to guy Al Sharpton.

Your answer is a typical liberal one implying that my comment was racist when it is just the truth.
It is not his color, it is what he does and says that makes him to appear to be all those things. Apart from the birth certificate which is now a moot point I can see reasons that are very valid.
Sure, it isn't "color", ie race....yet the things you object to that he commented on.....were race related.

Not so much about race, but his race-baiting which catches fish klike yourself every time.

Sure, it is "ideological" differences....over his comments on Martin, Panthers, Brown, Sharpton, Black Lives Matter.

FFS!

Okay.

Let's see your birth certificate.

Scan it...and post it.

Or are your words just a sign that you have a keyboard at your disposal?

LOL...it isn't about race....but his "race-baiting".

Wow, there just isn't much thought put into those knee-jerk responses, are there? After all, the focus of YOUR concerns about him....have absolutely nothing to do with race.......even in a thread about where he intends to live after leaving the office.

My first thought was "how did they get the secret service to approve this place?". I suspect that is nice thick brick and that they can install blast windows but still. For sure they cant use much of the outdoors without closing the street. I am still looking for something in the media on security analysis but have found nothing. I can understand Obama wanting to stay in town so that he can try to be a unelected player, "protect his legacy" he calls it, but I am not looking forward to it. I think he should follow the tradition of boarding Airforce1 on inauguration day and disappearing for a good long while.

Or maybe he's staying in town so his daughter can finish high school with the friends she's known for what will be 8 years instead of uprooting the family and moving her to a new school for a semester where she knows no one...

Amazing that the guy rents a house to do what most (decent) parents would do if they could, and the right wingers gotta bitch and whinge about it. SMH, but it's a pretty good microcosm of his entire 2 terms.

So

I can understand Obama wanting to stay in town so that he can try to be a unelected player, "protect his legacy" he calls it, but I am not looking forward to it. I think he should follow the tradition of boarding Airforce1 on inauguration day and disappearing for a good long while.

is "bitch and whinge" according to you.....

Interesting.

And I am not a righty, I am a lefty jsyk. Sanders would have been my guy if I had ever thought that he could get the job done.

I picked well, which is not unusual.

FWIW, I wasn't just referring to you obviously, but OK, my mistake, you just attributed BS selfish motives to his decision to stay. Much different!

And I am not a righty, I am a lefty jsyk. Sanders would have been my guy if I had ever thought that he could get the job done.

LOL, a "lefty" supporting Trump....

Can I see your birth certificate?

That's now two people who have asked and it's been more than five minutes since the first one asked. ;)

No they don't, but it looks like race and hate are you two favorites words. Which means you have your mind made up. White= bad, Everyone else=good.

You are the racist.

Obama is staying so his kids can stay with their friends for school. Yet in 2008 Michelle and Barry had no problems or concerns about pulling the children out of thier Chicago school and moving them away from their friends then. Like most of his presidency his words don't line up with deeds.

I see the excuse of children and school as cover for his own ego. IMO he wants to stay in DC to keep the money flowing into his pockets.

For Trump this would be gold, he has a built in excuse of it was all Obamas continued meddling in Washington that causes nothing to be fixed. For hiLIARy it's a nightmare because everyone will second guess her and ask WWOD. what would Obummer do?

That depends on whether liberal McCain would have realized that government is the problem, not the solution!

and the Dingbat Queen been in the hot seat)
Oh really; is this opinion of Sarah Palin based on your personal interactions and conversations with her?!

Or is your "Dingbat Queen" theory simply the result of years of hate propaganda by the Main Stream Media?!

The hate directed at Sara Palin was never about her 'intelligence' or lack there of___it was rooted in raw fear!

The Democrats obviously never viewed McCain as a threat but both political establishments came to fear Palin!

The MSM believes they're so clever in their propaganda but are actually quite obvious to anyone paying attention!
