A 15-year-old is FAR from being a young adult. I know this because I was one.
I have news for you, so you had better sit down before you read this. Women don't generally become attractive to men on the day of their 18th birthday. In fact, most men can't tell the difference between an 18 year old woman and a 17 year, 11 months, 29 days, old woman.
In fact, wasn't there some porn star back in the olden days who posed for Penthouse when she was only 15 and in possession of some fake ID? I'm pretty sure that some of the oldster guys I know weren't making this up but I can't remember the details. Point being, plenty of men found her attractive because she looked like a woman rather than a pig-tailed little girl.
Usually you can tell when someone is still in HIGH SCHOOL by having a simple conversation with said person.
It's a good thing that YOU weren't in a homo relationship with them.
I'm not understanding your point. How do you feel disgust abut a scenario if you haven't spoken with some imaginary girl at the heart of this question?
As I noted above, having to actually talk to 16 year old girls is probably nature's way of insuring birth control, but that doesn't mean that their physical appearance is revolting to men.
OK I am going to post a poll for the Men here, based on the yoga pants thread.
Going into this, being completely understanding of the fact that levels of maturity change greatly within a matter of only a few years, I'd like to ask this.
If a girl is 15 or 16 years old, would you be OK with dating her, knowing she was only 15 or 16, if you were in your early 20s?
Would that be OK with you?
I thought that most men would not be interested, remembering the old "15 will get you 20" saying.
But apparently I am wrong, according to one poster here, and most young men would be OK dating a 16 year old.
The question is would they "date" a 15 or 16-year-old girl, not if they find them physically attractive.
The answer to that is simple. I don't believe there are many in today's society much older than...22-23 who would date a 15,16,17 year old.
Some of it due to a lack of connection/maturity difference.
Some of it due to societal stigma of doing such.

Not always true. I've met several 20 somethings that you would swear were 13 year olds.
I agree with that. I think that, in most cases, 15-year-old's and people in their 20s are living VASTLY different lifestyles and have different interests too.
You would think this would be just common sense, but apparently it isn't. All ages of men lusting after 15-year-old children. It's disgusting.
That may be the case today, but when I was young, not so much. I did date guys who were 5-7 years older than I, and occasionally just a couple of years, but for the most part, I wasn't meeting them at school. I either worked with them, knew them through church, or met them hanging out with other friends at college events, or partying with college-age kids.
The Old Jewish rules made some sense
half the man's age + 7 was the limit for marriage
meaning a 20 year old man could not marry a woman younger than 17 an 18 year old man a 16 far old and a forty year old man, a 27 year old woman.
You have be good at math to figure out that formula!
You know any Rabbis who aren't?
I mean generally speaking. Most college-aged guys are going to the bars nowadays. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule.
Thinking about it, I don't think I'd really want my 15-year-old daughter going to college parties.
To be honest, I don't think I even KNOW any Rabbis.

My junior year-my suite had 3 Episcopalians, three Jews (one reformed, one Conservative and one orthodox) and David Broder's son who was half and half!. the Orthodox Jewish guy's Rabbi would drop by to discuss things with him and welcomed the rest of us in the discussions. He seemed to be well versed in just about anything. Two of the guys in the suite were bonafide math geniuses (one earned the Rhodes Scholarship, the other won a bunch of awards in math) and this rabbi could discuss intricate mathematical problems with them as well as many other things.
No doubt in my mind rabbis tend to be the best educated of all the clergy I have ever met
Why not try thinking of a best case scenario? Are you a church going man? Do you belong to any social clubs? I met my FIL before I met his daughter. Every pairing up between men and women doesn't have to be at a bar.
I would think that in most situations the 20-somethings would be find girls around his own age to be more intriguing.
I hate to say it but most 20-somethings that would be interested in girls that young would be because they think they are easy to take advantage of and would only want to use them for sexual purposes. Just being honest.
