http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/wa.../09/poll-americans-2-1-fear-obamas-reelection
As we enter the presidential election year of 2012, what potential news event do you fear the most?
President Obama wins reelection 33%
Taxes will increase 31%
Iran will get a nuclear weapon 16%
Obama will lose reelection 16%
North Korea will attack South Korea 4%
Holy misleading headline. It's 1/3, not 2 to 1. Also, I cannot find any actual poll information. Can any one find the actual poll?
33% to 16%....2 to 1. They're comparing the two "election" fears, hardly misleading at all.
Terrible thread title.
Obama is a ****ty president, and liberals know it. They're embarrassed by this pompous arrogant ass who sends his wife on million dollar vacations, who kept a single campaign promise, who fulfilled the Bush war policy and draw down, who hasn't close Gitmo, who has ****ed up in the Middle East.....a total loser; and liberals a stuck voting for him.So 1/3 of Americans fear Obama getting re-elected.
And in other breaking news, the sun sets tonight... in the west of all places.
And this just in..... and that same sun... at least we think it is the same one .... will rise again tomorrow in the east.
The fact that a third of Americans hate Obama and fear his re-election should surpirse not on person who has been following the hate Obama 24/7/365 marathon over the past three years.
From the article:
"...according to the new Washington Whispers poll"
The what what poll? :lamo

I think the numbers of Seniors voting in particular is significant here.
Too bad the GOP doesn't put up a reasonable alernative
As best I can tell it is an online poll with the US News and World Report. In other words, it is meaningless. There is a reason cpwill ran away from this thread.

there are, in fact, two reasons:
1. I live in Okinawa. The time zone here is a bit different.
2. I have a job and a family that between them take up most of my day
I agree the title is misleading - but every time I alter a headline when I post a thread I get dinged for not copying exactly the title of the article. I thought that the effect on Seniors in particular was worth note (which is why I mentioned it) because the strategy of Make Seniors Afraid Of Republicans And Their Entitlement Cuts doesn't seem (according to these numbers) to be gaining much traction.
Will...it's an online poll from a conservative site. It is meaningless, no matter how you try and spin it.
