Pelosi says the House will move to impeach Trump if he doesn’t resign ‘immediately.’

Perhaps some of the smarter and more patriotic ones are beginning to realize it's time to refocus. The country should come first, not Donald Trump.

Nope- Impeach and hold Republicans feet to the fire
There is no healing with the nutcase lot that we saw
The ringleaders, and those that incited this should feel the full and sever weight of Justice, lengthy sentence for those convicted

Think of Impeachment as a legal colonic for the Republican Party.

People will judge those for and against Impeachment.

Those Senators/CDs who were leading this, hopefully many face a Primary and lose

He's not going to be running for anything else. And if he did, it would be up to the voters to make that decision. It's not going to prevent him from being pardoned, and an ex-president can't pardon anyone. (Trump can pardon anyone he wants to in the next 2 weeks).

It's a waste of time. Congress has pressing issues.
If he's involved in impeachment proceedings, he cannot be pardoned by Pence if he decides to resign to try to get said pardon. Pardon stopped. It has been said that pardons can potentially be challenged if made by someone under impeachment proceedings, due to the wording of the Constitution. It may not hold up, but at the same time, it could be used to restrain that particular power.

Again though, you are completely disregarding that it would take away his benefits as a former President if he were to be found "guilty".

Law breaking rioters should be arrested and prosecuted.

Now people participating in insurrection ...... breaking through multiple barriers, some armed, breaking into the Federal Building where laws are made and attempting to interfere with the election process and striking fear into the same people.....in a process that ended in loss of life due to their actions....

Many of them will get a rude awakening when they figure out that their actions will lead to substantially more than a rioter crashing in a window of a store. My guess is that they will be turning on each other right and left to get plea bargains.
Very few were arrested, as many mayors and governors let them go on, tacitly approving of the mayhem and destruction of people's lives. Where were the calls for these elected officials to be removed? These people were trying to over throw the government every bit, if not more, as the ones at the Capitol. They even stated that it was their goal to remove Trump from office.

You’re telling me that you don’t care that people broke into the chambers of congress with weapons, bombs, and zip cuffs. You... don’t care.

You don’t care that our capitol was invaded by people waving the flag of an enemy nation.

You don’t care.

Right. And I’m sure you wouldn’t care if they had brown skin and were wearing turbans either.
Another empty reply, with you unable to answer. Tell me, how does "I think all rioter/looters, etc... should be prosecuted" translated to "You don’t care" in the twisted liberal mind? Explain that.

And while you are at it, tell me how you feel about Pelosi calling our federal law enforcement storm troopers. Removal from office?

They'll be no impeachment. Senate will not be in session until after POTUS term has expired.

Sure...impeach Trump, then impeach Pence, and then SHE can move into the WH for a few days.
You actually think this is about personal power?
Well for Trump, Pence, and possibly even Pelosi it might be.

But what about millions of people that want this corrupt lying mother****er OUT before he does more damage?
And yes, I am talking about Trump.

lol - he's not worried about his retirement benefits. He'll be OK.

If an impeachment prevents Trump from issuing any more pardons, that alone makes it a worthwhile endeavor

If it prevents him from running in 2024 that's big. I don't think he will or will be welcomed to anyway.

Well they have to be caught first.

The amount of time and energy (and likelyhood of capture and conviction) will help determine the amount of resources.

Considering they violently broke into the Capital Building in an an attempt to disrupt the election and intimidate those confirming the electors.........sounds like they will put a lot of resources nationally into apprehension of those responsible. Considering the words of POTUS and the acknowlwdgement of participants....this will be seen as sedition (as it should be) I think there will be more than a handful facing a long prison sentence.....
I think that there will be more than a handful willing to take a plea to narc on the ring leaders..

You say the most random and absurd things sometimes. Acting like a bitter 12 year old. You shouldn't be carrying around this anger. It will eat you up inside.

There are a lot of people out there like this. Angry, hateful people. The sad part is they are angry from the lies they have been told over and over. Hopefully cutting off the head of the snake will eliminate a chunk of these miserable people.

Do you really think he would run again in 2024? Get the nomination? And win?

We have bigger issues now.

Messed up on the reply
Here ya go

They've already got the system rigged. It's called election fraud and it worked. It'll work any time they need it.
Deep State?
Faked news- actors - 5 dead - yep a NothingBurger- one of many Right?
Dismissed

Rs increased their CD seats when they expected a blue wave - HTF did they do that?

It seems unlikely at the moment. I think it's best to bury this idea as deeply as possible so it doesn't affect decisions made by Republicans in the next four years.

Who ever though he would run? Get the nomination? and win in 2016?

Nobody expected a "blue wave" except the bogus pollsters. And the idiots who listened to them.

The election fraud was solely directed toward making sure Trump lost. It was a success.

If he ran again and won, it would indicate that both parties have deeper issues. In the end, it really should be up to the electorate though. I think he has zero chance.

Again, congress has bigger things to worry about than a non issue. It's stupid to suggest tying up all branches of our government for months just to kick sand in Trump's face.

Don't forget the "stab them in the back" part.
Stab in the back? No, that's the Republicans who are standing behind Trump and stabbing him. Pelosi is stabbing him in the front.

I don't think it will take months. Trump can't go unpunished for this.

If he has the capability of running....he will use the ability to raise money for his election as his slush fund. If he is impeached and convicted he will be ineligible to run.

I am not sure how much money he really has. By some accounts he is deeply in debt with the Russians.

But frankly, I think he has a truckload of legal troubles once he leaves office. Probably will keep him tied up for years. But Giuliani has the chops to have his back

How many legal cases did Trump lose?

You could just as easily be talking about Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, and many more.

Yes, well, if you put no effort at all into catching people (because they thought it helped Biden), you probably aren't going to catch any. But the left is cool with that. What if, instead of telling them to leave in peace, Trump announced that it would be best to just let them get it all out of their systems. I would want him to resign if he did that.
