The GOP primary saga continued : Lol

Tea Party champion Sarah Palin, who has already ruled out a 2012 presidential run, on Monday attempted to dangle her name anew as a possible Republican candidate, although it's probably too late. In an interview to air on Fox Business Network's "Follow the Money" program, the 2008 Republican nominee for vice president was asked whether she would still consider a run for the White House.
"It's not too late for folks to jump in," Palin said. "Who knows what will happen in the future."

It's too late. She would not be able to get on at least some state ballots. She would have to hope for a brokered convention.

What's adding one more crazy to the mix! :cuckoo:

Shes doing her usual...making noise

The donations to Sarahpac have slowed down and she wants more funds for Christmas.

*note to the overly defensive who may be tempted to pounce on this.. this is not to be taken seriously.. it is humor.. although it is possible that at least part of the statement is based upon a grain of truth

LOL money must be getting tight, she needs another book tour.

Trying to keep her hat in the ring for a possible VP replay? Those clothes she stole in '08 must be out of fashion.

She might be planning on it; it would be the perfect way to avoid the vetting process (debates, interviews, etc).

We really only need one horomonal, self-obsessed, completely wacked out woman in this campaign. She should stay the hell out of the way and let Bachmann destroy herself. Then, she should go back to Fox and continue her little punditry and leave us in peace. I'm all for a conservative woman president...but Palin and Bachmann can both suck it.

She must not be too sure if Gingrich or Romney will hand Obama his 2nd term.

I agree that you are correct that it is too late to get on some state ballots. Although if she is serious she should absolutely get on whatever states she can still qualify for to demonstrate that she actually can get votes and support. A brokered convention is one of those things out of history and a wetdream of journalists and political junkies (like me and others here). That could happen but Palin would have to take an active role to make that happen.

While she's technically correct, from a practical standpoint it's too late for any candidate to announce this late and have a reasonable shot at the nomination. If she wanted to run for president, she should have declared earlier this summer, which would have automatically made her Romney's primary challenger and would likely have kept Rick Perry and possibly Michele Bachmann out of the race.

Palin's best hope of influencing the election at this point would be to endorse the conservative she believes would make the best president (Gingrich, Perry, Bachmann, Santorum) and limit her public remarks to criticism of the Obama administration and fundraising for the party's 2012 candidates.

Please oh please oh please!!!! There couldn't be a better ticket for the GOP than Palin/Gingrich or Gingrich/Palin.

lol...for a minute there i thought you were describing perry!

Whatever you say Sarah. Just don't pretend to the world that you're actually running for the White House in a serious manner.

For me it is. She's a mockery, and she will only seal the deal if it's her vs Obama.

It must be because she's having trouble shopping around her reality show.

Sarah Palin is the strongest GOP contender out there. The GOP is just too dumb to see it.

It may not be too late for somebody like Christie but for Sarah - its 3 years too late!

Based on the polls, the Republican "establishment" already know that there is one, and only one GOP candidate, with any chance of defeating Obama in the 2012 Election - Romney!

The fact that he is considered too liberal by most Republican/Tea Party supporters may pose some problems, but nothing the Karl Rove "types" can't handle when it comes to "derailing" the campaigns of other GOP competitors.

Palin is like the creme in an Oreo cookie. She'd perfectly fit being layered between Bachmann and Perry. Or how about the 3 stooges. That might be a better description of those three.
