And points a gun at them. Isnt that like.... Terrorism or something? Threatening a political movement with death? (or someone covering it)

Screaming "STAY BACK OR I WILL F*CKING SHOOT YOU!!! DO YOU F*CKING UNDERSTAND?!?!" is basically what the military explicitly trains you to do in those kinds of situations. lol
Is he in the military?
Is he in the military?
Maybe if the cop was black the other cops would have shot him? (facetious last comment)
Is he in the military?
No, but the situation is vaguely comparable.
An angry, potentially dangerous, mob, is an angry, potentially dangerous, mob.

That was an "angry mob"? Walking down the street peaceful, and chanting, is an "angry mob"?

Lol. Yea, if I'm not mistaken, they were "chanting" things like "Stop throwing things! Don't throw things! He's got a gun!" while shouting obscenities at the police officers present.
We clearly have different definitions of the word "peaceful."
There probably isn't a day that goes by when I don't shout at the TV 'go **** yourself" to some asshole "journalist" who thinks they run the world and are entitled to be anywhere and do anything they want.
I also heard the people saying he was pointing the gun at "my hands are up sir".. Then the office saying "I will ****ing kill you". Then someone asking the officer "what his name was?". Officer replies "go **** yourself".
Eh. He lost his temper, from the looks of things. I don't think he was actually planning on shooting anyone.
Honestly though, I have a hard time getting worked up over this kind of thing.

Yes but when protests turn violent, like has happened in Ferguson, an officer's role changes accordingly. They are now placed in a situation where contain and control are the main objectives. Much like the role of the military. That is one of the main complaints. We don't need a military police force in our cities.

Yea he did. Should be fired. And? The simple fact of the matter is that the guy lost his temper.
Tuesday night was relatively calm. If he cant keep his "cool" while peaceful protesters are marching then I dont think he is fit to be a police officer. Pointing your gun at protestors with their hands in the air and asking for his name is beyond inappropriate and there is no excuse.I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that such things have a tendency to happen when a person has spent the last several hours (and very likely, the last several days) being harassed and basically assaulted by an angry mob of idiots intent on doing their best impression of a deranged pack of howling Chimpanzees.
Should never have happened period. When the other officers on the scene saw what was going on, they took him aside to cool off. Problem solved.
Because if they are not wearing badges (many in Missouri are not) they are basically acting impunity if they cannot be identified. For that matter, what gives you the idea that police officers are obligated to tell you their name?

A journalist in a public space filming a newsworthy event must think they are entitled to be anywhere and do anything they want because doing their job is the strongest evidence of a sense of entitlement.
