NFL Playoffs

You are hopeless if you idea of "the greatest quarter in Super Bowl history" involved the Atlanta Falcons. I am here to talk about Tom Brady the Buccaneer, not Tom Brady the Patriot, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, not the Atlanta Falcons. Get back to it.

Again I'm responding to CJ so stop jumping in especially since you don't respond when I pick apart your posts.

Maybe the Boston media.....

I watched it in London England, the entire world was talking about that comeback. Even Barcelona FC used it as inspiration to mount a comeback of their own.

You and others in here always focus on the negatives when it comes to Brady and this weekend will be no different.

Well, think Chiefs will win but can't count out Buccaneers with Tom the human luck sponge at QB. The food will be good and the beer cold, so a good game with a few decent commercials would be nice. No interest in the Halftime show again.

I have taken Monday off work as its starts at 11pm here. Typically have a SB party but it will be virtual this year with my friends. I think the Chiefs will win this but honestly I just want to see an exciting game.

I can go toe to toe with you if you want to post articles about this Super Bowl - here's one from the NFL's own site:

I've said nothing negative about Brady's 2020/21 year and in fact, in a prior post, complemented him on his accomplishment, getting to a tenth Super Bowl in his first year with a new team. I'm not a Cheatriots' fan boi, so I can actually see things a little more realistically than perhaps you can.

Id argue its the opposite. You have for years on here talked about Brady's easy playoff routes and his inability to win on the road etc. He's absolutely crushed that narrative with the AFC championship game and now the 3 road games this season.

As for this Sunday I hope he wins but I'm not really bothered if he doesn't. As you point out I'm a Patriots fan not a Brady fan and we have our own issues right now starting with who will be our QB this fall lol.

Is anyone placing any fun bets for Sunday?

And you may have missed it, but I previously posted, after the TB win in GB, that Brady has shown the ability to go on the road and lead his team to three wins against better teams.

As a typical Cheatriots fan, and most liberals, you can't accept that anyone can have an opinion that isn't 100% the prime directive you support. You, clearly, have a victim complex that prevents you from seeing comments that support your arguments because you're always looking for comments that support your Cheatriots narrative that nobody loves us.

I'm placing bets and playing daily fantasy. What would you consider a fun bet?

The "prop" bets. Will it go to OT? Who starts with the ball? Will Brady go over 5 yards rushing? etc

I haven't followed the NFL this year. I just wanted to say, the whole Brady going to Tampa and the playoffs and Superbowl thing? I told you so before any of it happened. It's documented here.

Oh man, such a shame about calamity being suspended two days before the Super Bowl. Whatever the reason, I hope it will not be a long one.

Kansas City's only problem on offense is left tackle whether JPP knows Mike Remmers or not. However, Remmers will be playing in his second Super Bowl; his first one was SB 50 with Carolina. He is not a stranger to the big stage or Raymond James Stadium.

He didn’t have a good quarter, he had arguably the greatest quarter in SB history and the media focused on the comeback just as much as the Atlanta coaching staff 😙

SB XXII second quarter, imo.

Was that when Washington just went off?

Doug Williams, after getting his leg horribly twisted late in the 1st quarter, came back and threw four TDS in the 2nd quarter.

I watched the game on the tv. It was amazing. Denver went up 10-0 in the first.

I hope it is but i can’t see it. I think the only way Tampa wins is by eating up the clock and putting pressure on Mahomes.

If I did not care who wins, I would definitely want a shootout. My favorite Super Bowl on the entertainment scale (disregarding the participating teams) is the one at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Since Tampa Bay is a pass-first team for obvious reasons, Byron Leftwich needs to be very good at adjusting his play calls against the Kansas City defense.
