They could see the obvious. Pass a jobs bill, forget about stopping gay marriage, and advocate for better porn. Bring it on.New Snowden leak: NSA program taps all you do online - CNN.com

Imagine what an incumbent with access to that could do during a campaign?

This is exactly the reason why this traitor belongs in jail. If you don't think the technology our government has at its beck and call is mind-blowing, I have a bridge to sell you. It's how they USE the technology that matters.

Obama? Yes he does belong in jail. I'm glad Snowden is making light of these programs. This is an obvious 4th amendment violation.

Who said this targeted any domestic non-terrorism related parties? I'm sure they could but doesn't mean they do.
This is a FORN SIGINT tool- what do you think the NSA does? Play pong? Lol
Overblown by the media...no one is reading your info, emails etc.. Snowden is a rat, and probably a mole, that will get what he deserves.
Every email is "read" by a sophisticated program and all are required to be preserved to be available to the government.
Read? Really? Com'on xkeyscore is but an older reiteration of sniffers; Carnivore was around in the late 90s- LOL
Get real.
It's not overblown at all. If anything it was "underblown". Even low level employees have access to our emails, browsing history, and a mountain of other data, without any kind of authorization or warrant. You don't sound like you have much respect for the constitution. Would you still defend their actions if they were physically searching you and your house instead of electronically?Who said this targeted any domestic non-terrorism related parties? Anyone who didn't know this already is a naive idiot. Fourtunately, they don't give a damn about Joe Jackofferson, and his terabytes of porn, or who Johnny Pothead got his fix from. They're playing connect the dots. They already certain sites and email addresses red flagged, they're using this to see who goes to them, what they do there, and determine whether or not they pose a credible threat to national security. Same with the phone lines.

It's not "insider information", it's common sense. Do you honestly believe that the number of personnel they have has the capacity to scan hundreds of millions of mouse clicks, phone calls, and texts every second of the day? That's stupid. They'll be looking at specifically targeted areas for suspicious activity. Any idiot with half a brain and even the most basic knowledge of how the department of defense operates can figure that out.Seeing as how you seem to have insider information about top secret programs, why don't you enlighten us? You seem to be very aware of what they do, and do not use this for.
I guess you're the type that believes the government can do no wrong and would never abuse such a program? As long as you sleep safely in your bed at night you don't care what they do, huh?
The FBI did track the Tsarnaev brothers. They even brought them in for questioning based on information givenn to them by the Russians. The FBI believed that they weren't a threat, and removed the flag. They have likely changed a few things as a result. If that is true, which I think it is, then why didn't they prevent the Boston Marathon bombing?
FYI - The issue remains: the IC is harvesting information on everyone they can and a lot of people hate the idea of it no matter what word game or rationale they use.

No, I'm just not dumb enough to believe that the NSA isn't abusing the power it was given when Congress and the Supreme Court gave them a free pass in 2006, nor do I think the government is this huge omniscient being that sees all and knows all. Everything is systemized, bureaued, and has at least 136 levels of protocols and SOPs. Would you like to post more asinine assumptions about my character based on one post, or are you done with the polarized hysterics?

The government can copy and read your 'puter and/or copy it all - including anything you deleted up to 7 layers deep as of a few years ago (meaning until you totally over-write your hard drive 7-times it is still there. Other software, such as Norton, is specifically saving everything you do in a hidden file called the "ghost file." None of any of this is really a secret.
Hubble(s) doesn't look at space, it is watching you. 24/7 and saving it all. That is how they located the Waco bomber so quickly. Curious law too. It is entirely legal to use to spy on people, but illegal to allow more than a certain resolution to be released. Thus, nothing seen can ever be used in a court or publicly released. That also is why such as Google Satellite can only zoom in so close. The government could read a book along with you from space as you read it on a park bench, but the security law says they can never publicly release nor even reveal this including in court in anything but the resolution limitation. No exceptions allowed. They want most people to think this just a conspiracy nut myth.
Or what the Chinese will do with after they hack in and make copies.New Snowden leak: NSA program taps all you do online - CNN.com
