Multiple victims in Texas church shooting, local media reports – The Denver Post

SUTHERLAND SPRINGS, Texas — Local news outlets report that several people have been shot at a Baptist Church in South Texas.

Television stations KSAT and KENS report that there are multiple victims and that there is a large police presence at the church in Sutherland Springs, which is 30 miles (48 kilometers) southeast of San Antonio.

KSAT reports that two Airlife helicopters are also at the scene.

Depends on what you mean by "mission". If he hears voices in his head that tell him to kill people then its not terrorism. If he was on a misison to kill everyone in the church because the pastor was sleeping with his wife, its not terrorism.

If the bonkers claims to be on any sort of mission, it's still terrorism, right?

Depends on what you mean by "mission". If he hears voices in his head that tell him to kill people then its not terrorism. If he was on a misison to kill everyone in the church because the pastor was sleeping with his wife, its not terrorism.

Could be anti Christian, anti black, anti republicans, anti US, etc. If we take the bonkers' word for motive, it's terrorism.

Here we go again what was Vegas a month ago. OK thoughts and prayers goes out to the victims and their families.
Now Dems go to the left corner GOP head over to the right corner! Here are your talking points depending on the race of the shooter.
GOP you go 1st.
If black it's a gang banger thug who should not have a gun.
If Mexican it's a non legal immigrant who shouldn't be here in the 1st place (even if he or she was born here)
If Muslim it's an act of terror.
If white let's wait and figure this out let's understand what happen and why.
Dems your turn.
No matter the race of the shooter we need more gun control.
So sad we can't come together as Americans and stop this nonsense.

The country decided that twenty children being murdered at Sandy Hook was acceptable. In order for real gun control discussion (and possibly even legislation) to take place, it's going to take something many magnitudes worse. This? This is nothing. This is a mildly annoying morning in rush hour traffic for these guys.

Nothing is 100%. Alarm signs on houses and security cameras in stores aren't 100% effective but do lower the amount of theft. Likewise, while reasonable gun control laws won't stop these acts, they can reduce these acts. Nearly 1,000 Americans have died in gun deaths since the Las Vegas event. All other western nations have stronger gun laws and lower gun violence.

There is no law, it's all up to the churches individually. My parents' pastor encourages the congregation to conceal carry and they do.
