Edit: Ok, they are the same group of people. What I'm getting from this is that in the 18 months of presenting evidence, they grand jury has not decided there should be federal criminal charges filed against Trump, so he needs 6 more months to come up with something?

Edit: Reading more about grand juries, they are basically a rubber stamp for the prosecution. They read like a cabal or some sorts, and since it it is totally one sided, a indictment does not indicate guilt in anyway.

Not so.. There have been a number of cases that the Grand Jury has decided there was not enough justification to prosecute.

I think their fear & hatred of Trump will band the Dems together, at least in the beginning here. But as time goes on, it's possible Pelosi may be herding cats like Boehner had to. We shall see.
