More Trump promises circliing the drain

Did you all miss the memo about the congressional panel assembled to continue the investigation of clinton and the fbi?

Trump won't have to push it, the snowball is already rolling, Trump just gave them the hill..
 
The biggest problem I've had with the far right of the GOP the last 10-12 years is they never, ever want to compromise. It's 100% their way or the highway.

Now Trump seems(it's way too early to tell for sure) to want to compromise. So he will immediately end up on the far right loonies **** list. And within months they'll be looking for the next candidate who hates anyone and everything they hate and who will refuse to compromise on anything.

BTW the Climate Change flip flop by Trump is a real hoot.

There were/are MILLIONS who believe just that, and don't pretend otherwise.

When he softened alittle during the campaign Laura Ingram started to lose it. And she's not the only one.

Okay, so it's basically looking like Trump might *LE GASP!* govern as a moderate. Isn't that something you people should be happy about? :shrug:

I'd also point out that Trump hasn't even taken office yet, so it'd a bit pre-mature to try and lay out everything he will or will not do.

But it's not premature to point out how much of his rhetoric has changed, wouldn't you agree?

It's also not premature to point out he has chosen the head of the Republican Party for one of the highest level positions you can get, as opposed to "draining the swamp."
 
Lol....Ok judging by his nominations so far I wouldn't be concerned if I were a Trump supporter.

If he starts picking Democrats and Leftist as cabinet appointments then I think you could argue he's a " Liberal " in sheeps clothing but he's not.

Jeff Sessions as AG is a great pick and Trumps defending Bannon. There's also Preibus, Pompao and Flynn.

Sounds like a pretty Conservative cabinet and the more the media whinges about "diversity" the better.

I disagree. Any defense lawyer will tell you SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP pretty much regardless of the situation. There's no benefit to talking to prosecutors, or the police. It is their burden to prove you guilty. You're innocent until then. So what is there to gain?

His cabinet so far consist of Bannon, Preibus, Flynn, Pompao and Sessions , plus Pence as VP

Doesn't look moderate to me.
 
My favorite so far is Romney for Sec of State. It's actually a good choice. And, it's certainly one which will drive the Right nuts.

No they aren't. They are laughing at cons because they think trumps supporters have not understood all along that he is a moderate. Once again they are in for another rude awakening. Trump is what i believe the majority of americans are. He is a blue dog which was one of the factions under the big tent democratic until the ubber left hi-jacked the party. Blue dogs now reside on the right of the aisle.

Its funny in an odd sort of way but i remember growing up i rejected the right because it was dominated by what was coined as the moral majority which was a bunch of holy rollers telling everyone how they should live their lives but that dynamic has flipped and now its the SJWs telling everyone how to live and they are being soundly rejected.

Maybe one day people will figure out that the majority of us want the control freaks to leave the rest of us the hell alone

That really is one of his two most powerfull weapons politically speaking. He can veto everything until he gets something he wants and the other thing he can do is kill political careers by going on camera and taking his case to the people and calling out whoever trys to obstruct him.

The people he has been choosing are not liberals and not even fit for office in many cases. My worry is that he may not be able to govern at all. I do look forward to deficit hawks like Ryan squirming when he won't touch SS or Medicare and insists on a trillion $ stimulus for infra structure. That should be quite amusing.

Looks like some are going to find out who they actually elected, there will be heads exploding all over the country in the next 12 months. Heck I tried warning them, my cat seem to comprehend my warning better, all I got is a whole lot of venom for my trouble. If he turns back into the Liberal he has always been I wonder how many will admit they got it wrong, my guess is not many. The again so did the Dems, good grief, Hillary Clinton, Really, and some wonder why so few bothered to vote. So all we can do is hope he works out for the next four years and If we are still around, put in someone better.
