MLB ⚾️ 2023

Plunked down $35 for MLB TV for the rest of the season. Great deal for a baseball junkie like myself.

Watched Orioles torment Gausman today. Blue Jays look lost on offense. Think Flaherty was an underrated pick up. Rooting for Orioles!

Will enjoy Cubs/Braves series. Plan on watching all 3, along with the Dodger/ Padres games. Think Padres should've sold.

Aaron Boone and the Yankees took advantage of him. He was clearly sick and showed up to the game drunk but Boone waited for him to sober up and put him in the game

Home plate Tumpane expanded the zone for Hendricks in the 1st already. His K boost is 1.16x. He just called two balls as strikes on Swanson also. Past time for ABS.

Day games: ATL from -3 to +15 2022 to 2023. CHC +3 now -4. Cubs played last night. ATL was off and started at 12:21 ET on Wed. Tumpane is brutal, and the wind is in.

CIN lost at CHC ending at 10:50 ET last night. Then there’s going from the end of the game to the plane taking off, the flight to CIN, & airport to sleeping if no problems.

This continues to be unacceptable and it’s across the league. TOR does getaway night games six times this year, leading to those teams playing poorly and less runs scored.

Alcoholism is a very sad aspect of sports, going back to the late 1800s with baseball.

The damage done to family is excruciating in so many ways.
Hope he gets the help he desperately needs.
 
The Braves scored a touchdown in the top of the 5th and Fried has looked great.

Yankees had a Tough week...
 
White Sox vs Guardians and that overturned call at 2nd in the 4th inning. That really looked like the hand was knocked (pushed) off the base by the glove, but maybe so slight that somebody in the booth at the replay center thought it was worthy to overturn, yes? I can only think it was overturned because it was more like a push and not a knock, which is against the rules. But a "push" might occur if the runner is going to lose the hand on the bag anyway. Or something like that. Not sure I am explaining this correctly.

Did any of you see that one?
 
Micky Mantle used to play hungover and drunk all the time. Pour some coffee down his gullet and he was fine.

The Braves are the team to beat in my opinion. You're going to have to go through the Braves to win a WS championship.

Joe Kelly buzzed Tatis,Jr forcing him to the ground - then struck him out with a 100mph heater down the middle. As Tatis was walking away, Kelly called him a ****ing bitch (he didn't say it directly to him or at him). This is why he's loved by Dodger fans.

From 670 AM the Score: Anderson has as many HRs this year as he’s been knocked out. There’s much more to this story, with the Guards being no Angels.

Kopech has some good comments. Guards are scuffling and talking 💩 themselves. You’ve seen each other 19 times a year for too many years, which hurts starting P’s.

It didn’t take Syndergaard long to notice the tension pre-game.
Then he went out and got his ass kicked, for his newest team.

Francona was still Butthurt from being ejected Friday when Anderson tagged out Arias at 2nd. (Tito also got launched 8 days ago at Chicago)

Anderson was ragging on Arias Saturday and Guards feelings got hurt, whining to ump to stop it. Anderson not playing in 10 minutes. Ramirez is.

Cubs up 5-4 bottom 7 on Braves. Their fans traveled.
