[Minnesota] She PITCHES like a man!

It's just more extreme versions of fitting stereotypes.

This is wrong again.
It's not my goal to trigger you. I use it as a tool to demonstrate that you know I'm right.

You have never been correct on any trans subject because you still deny the existence of gender identity. That is the core concept of the entire subject. Until you understand that idea you are fumbling in the dark.
Gender itself meaning what?

A male or female internal sense of self that is independent from a person's bio sex. For most people they are the same, but for 2% +/- they are different to some extent.
Right. Being converted out of being sexually attracted to one sex over the other is different than being told you can't crossdress.
WHUT?

This is wrong again.
So why would you go through the process of getting surgery and taking hormones if it wasn't to be a more convincing person of the opposite sex?
You have never been correct on any trans subject because you still deny the existence of gender identity.
Here's the problem with your concept of gender identity and I've stated this before.

If it's neurological it is a birth defect. You are arguing that transgender people have abnormal brains and suffer from deformities.

When I point this out you get upset but it's what must be the case if gender identities is some sort of neurological condition.
That is the core concept of the entire subject. Until you understand that idea you are fumbling in the dark.
I can accept that trans people have a birth defect if that's the point you're making and think really hard about that.

Right it's a mental disorder.

Right it's a mental disorder.
Just because they are different from the statistical majority doesn't mean its a mental or neuro disorder any more than being gay is a neuro or mental disorder or birth defect. This is another fine point that your arguments fail to understand. You want a simple and binary view of this issue but that is not possible because is is too complex for such a simple answer.

Right it's the 40% suicide rate, the need for multiple surgeries and hormones.

As far as I know you don't need surgeries in a hormone therapy and behavioral psychology to be gay. If anything it's just something you accept.

But one could make the argument that there is something wrong.
This is another fine point that your arguments fail to understand.
No. It's your duality your inability to accept the truth of the implications of what you were claim about gender identity.
You want a simple and binary view of this issue but that is not possible because is is too complex for such a simple answer.
That's personal incredulity. This is in fact for very binary. Either it's neurological and therefore more along the lines of a deformity or disability or it's not. I can't both be and neurological disability and also not a disability. It's not more complicated than that. You needed to be to avoid the implications of the things you say.

That is a little confusing. It is all according to the rules. If you accept the rules you have no grounds for complaints

It's a league for girls that decided to allow a boy to play. It's that simple.

You want a simple and binary view of this issue but that is not possible because is is too complex for such a simple answer.

Nope. A boy is playing against girls in a league for girls. End of debate.

Lisa makes the claim that it's binary so therefore it's wrong because it can't be binary despite the fact that it obviously is.

The simple truth must be contorted into something nonsensical in order to escape it and to believe the lie. They do this with everything.

I'd explain why your wrong but you have a red banner, so its not worth my effort. Enjoy the time off.

Say what?

Great, now the transvestigators and gender criticals will be out here investigating cis women for pitching too good.

My local dispensary neglected to advise me on that. But I have also heard some cannabis possess gender altering powers. A man inhaled once and ran around for three hours in a skirt.
Well, gee, that never happened to me, and how useful on road trips this would've been too. (Only time I've ever wanted to be a man is on trips with long distances between service station bathrooms.)

You think often moan about binary subjects.
Sex and gender are not binary. Sexual orientation is also not binary because bisexuals exist. Asexuals also exist.

Bisexuals bi is the prefix in binary. That sort of proves that it's binary. Also asexual is not an orientation it's a lack thereof even that's binary.

And yes sex is binary there is only male and female there is nothing else. Gender is binary there is only masculine and feminine.

So when you save these things that are definitely binary are not binary it's hilarious.

Nobody can transition. The term she was abused when she was nine. There's no way in hell you're going to convince me that a nine year old knows their gender.
Is a 9-year old capable of informed consent?

Is a 9-year old capable of informed consent?
If you read the OP, the parents were involved the whole time with her transition.

I did read the OP. As a parent myself, I don't understand. Don't ask me to; I don't and think that however well-intentioned, they were reckless, irresponsible, and cruel. They robbed their own child of any choice for the rest of his life when he was only 9 freaking years old.

Are you suggesting that the child could not know that she had cross gendered feelings at the age of 9, feelings that were backed up by interviews with Drs and psychologists? Would you rather have them deny her needed medical care until she attempts suicide or starts cutting out of the pain that gender dysphoria causes. The parents were not making treatment decisions by themselves and the child was not just a outlet for their own opinions.

At what age do you think gender dysphoria becomes a severe medical issue that must be treated? 18-21? 25? 30?

I suggest no such thing; I state that the parents were the purported adults and made a life-altering decision for a 9-year old. Perhaps a psychologist can weigh in about how other instances of youth suicide ideation are treated and also cutting and why this treatment wouldn't be workable here.

The parents were not making medical treatment decisions out of the blue on their own with the child as their pet or a toy. The treatment is a collaborative process with the patient, the treatment team and the parents. Denying needed care causes the problem. You cant possibly treat depression/anxiety/suicidal idealation and hope to put her gender dysphoria on pause until she is 18-21. At what age do you think cross-gender feeling become obvious enough to become gender dysphoria to the patient if you think 9 years old is too young? The mind doesn't work that way.

Do you also have a degree in psych or are an MD?

Symptoms of Gender Dysphoria

DSM-5 states that the initial condition for the identification of gender dysphoria in both adults and teenagers is a noticeable incongruence between the gender the patient believes they are, and what society perceives them to be. This disparity should be ongoing for at least 6 months and should consist of 2 or more of the subsequent criteria (American Psychiatric Association, 2013):

  • Noticeable incongruence between the gender that the patient sees themselves are, and what their classified gender assignment
  • An intense need to do away with his or her primary or secondary sex features (or, in the case of young teenagers, to avert the maturity of the likely secondary features)
  • An intense desire to have the primary or secondary sex features of the other gender
  • A deep desire to transform into another gender
  • A profound need for society to treat them as another gender
  • A powerful assurance of having the characteristic feelings and responses of the other gender
  • The second necessity is that the condition should be connected with clinically important distress, or affects the individual significantly socially, at work, and in other import areas of life.
