Large capacity magazines serve no valid purpose in situations where a gun would be used legally.

On the other hand if you want to kill as many people as possible in a crowded place before they can escape, it would help to have a couple of high capacity magazines.

Most people agree that a 50 round drum is ridiculously unreasonable.
