no... it's a simplified discussion of gender roles as applies to sex. the point being that the answer to abortion is not patriarchy or a different kind of matriarchy, but rather simple monogamy.

I, for one, far prefer sex to be a choice that is freely entered into, rather than a complex negotiation. I don't like it being a reward, or compensation. When I'm with someone, I do it being I genuinely want to, and I hope that their position is the same, rather than some kind of power play, or investment.
