There can be no argument that starts with scientific facts concerning gun violence, climate change, etc, that results in a conclusion regarding government law or policy. To do so is to commit the is/ought fallacy. The most you can do is argue that the costs of a disarmed populace is worth the benefits, and that determination is completely subjective, but one of those costs is people like the ex-girlfriend and 2 year old child in the OP end up dead.

That's it, in a nutshell. When we do get a handle on this crisis, he wants to be able to pull out footage and declare "I called it! I said use this! I said try this! I told them to do this, it was my idea!" He's just doing it with lots of stupid stuff because he doesnt want to miss an opportunity. He's afraid 'the big one' will be mentioned and he wont get credit for it.

It's all about declaring himself the savior of the cv crisis and we'll hear all about it, esp in his campaign. (Which is basically each of his press briefings these days) --- Lursa

It’s okay, he didn’t care where any white people lived when he talked about inner cities. He just wanted to threaten me with Black people cause it’s a thing for him apparently.

We ended up with a tomato bumper crop; Lady Bum didnt have any watermelons this year, so she traded with the gentleman down the road who is a pear tomato lover......now comes the not so fun part; she is making pickled watermelon rinds.

I love them, but they tend to be labor intensive to make.

Her taste in music is eclectic...and that tends to understate it a bit; One Moment Enya, the next its Motorhead.....and I have to tell ya, listening to her try to sing in the shower to Wolf Totem had me wondering if I needed to call EMS or a Priest. :mrgreen:

He was supposed to be the inspiration for Rock the Casbah.

I would play Ya Rayah going in the main gate of the local Marine base... Always got me extra attention as they bomb searched my car.
