senile and shrill. that's a winning combination
It's not a combination I want to vote for.

So, why now is it different when Biden is the one ahead in pledged delegates?
Sorry, man. I understand you're not happy, but Sanders electability was torn to bits tonight.
If the revolution he's leading didn't show up tonight, they ain't showing up in mother****ing November. Let's be glad we found that out tonight and not then.
He is running for the Democratic Party nomination, I don’t like the way he attacks the party he supposedly wants to be president of.
Biden just took the lead in TX! Amazing.
Obviously.Biden has spent the least amount of money than the other top contenders and he is getting the most bang for the bucks he has spent. He's got momentum going, and since so many people have stated that they only made their decision who to vote for in the last few days, maybe Joe's momentum is getting contagious.

80% in.
Trump has 1,013,077 votes.
Twice as many as entire DNC combined.
. If there are a bunch of exotic dishes then they have to ask what is in those, but they might just go for the casserole, because they know it will fill them up and it won't have surprises.
.
Yeah? How'd those polls hold up for him tonight?Bernie did better in one v. one polls than the other candidates.
Just noticed where Sessions and Tuberville will have a runoff on 3/31 to face Sen. Doug Jones.

Biden is the least intellectually capable person on either side and he's also getting more senile but Goofy Bernie comes off as nutty as well. Bernie doesn't make the same gaffs Biden does, but his political philosophy is nutty to most Americans and he looks addled much of the time

Well, if we think about it all, Bernie wasn't showing as much strength as people thought... he barely edged the no-name-recognition gay guy from a small town in Indiana, in New Hampshire right next door to his base. Then in Vermont he got only half the vote and under-performed again, in his own state as compared to 2016. Oklahoma, he won all districts in 2016 and lost all districts in 2020. The young crowd that was supposed to energize everything, showed up as 15% of the voters while the older people were 85% of the voters.
That is not good.
Even if he recovers in California (now his lead to Biden is becoming 12% and Biden is falling, might end up below 15% which would give a big chunk of delegates to Bernie), this kind of regression as opposed to 2016, like MovingPicture said, is very concerning for November.
Biden is now leading in Texas.
Obviously.
If Biden takes TX, it will be impossibly hard to deny him the nomination.
Democrats have a million votes in Texas.
I think it's exaggerated how many Sanders supporters defected. They are unfairly blamed for Clinton's loss.Yes, the person with the largest plurality should get the nomination. I don't know what will happen with Bernie voters. Some will probably leave the Democratic Party in disgust. Others will exercise rationality and vote for Biden.
Its really unfortunate in a way. the Sanders voters are largely 'non-transferables' by the nature of the coalition he has built. Young voters are fickle and lazy. Anti-establishment/ anti Washington voters will be tempted by Trump, the far left can either write in Sanders or go Green Party. If we decided to go with Sanders, you might have a chance to educate the older voters and placate the centrists faster than you lose them IF this was not going to be the dirtiest, slimiest putin bot invested election in history. We can't possibly calm the fears of a 69 year old Democrat with a decent retirement nest egg and a home she wants to gift to her grandchildren towards this 'socialist' Crazy Bernie, faster than the GOP, Trump and Putin can stir up the fear, she will lose it all. She grew up being told that these ideas were an anathema to all that is good in America. She has a lot to learn in a few months and somebody else wants to teach her a much scarier narrative.Yes, the person with the largest plurality should get the nomination. Erod is very, very, very certain of DJT's really great, unbelievable performance in Texas...Texans luv Trump.
Hey TurtleDude, I agree that Biden appears to come off as not being very intellectual and appears even senile, but the substance of what he says is what's important. I didn't want him as the candidate because of the reasons you state, plus he's old, but after Amy Klobuchar tanked, I had to rethink my position. Biden is a known commodity, has established himself as a good person, and he has more experience with the White House goings on than any of the others. I believe him to be a communicator, and that's what we need for President. Someone who can appeal to all groups in one way or another. Plus he has international experience, something the other Dem candidates do not have.
Even Trump is afraid of Biden. So his old age problems aside, I see the value he can bring to the Presidency over all the other candidates, so he's got my vote.

As a matter of history, more Clinton voters crossed to vote McCain than Sanders for Trump, so I really don't see the worry there.
OTOH, if superdelegates or a pool of moderates took the nomination from Sanders at convention, that'd be a whole different story, and rightfully so.
