Liberals make me sick

Obama went to get the Olympics for Chicago.

That would have been a disaster
.

Because he didn't get that Olympics, it will be held in Los Angeles in 2024 which is a much better choice.

You don't know that.

In reality, with the great boost of investment and infrastructure that comes with such an event, Chicago would almost certainly be significantly more prosperous...and more peaceful as a direct result.

No, how the English language works is when I post an article about individuals and I reference them in a comment it indicates them not all people. For Example: If I post an article about two black guys robbing a store and I say they are crooks it doesn't mean all blacks are crooks it means the two blacks in the article are crooks, but I know you probably get confused with all your liberal intellectual dishonesty. Its hard to keep it straight. Hillary is having the same problem.

Yawn. You just can't weasel out from under this one, sport.

Why be so dishonest? What's the point?

Ah, so when you said liberals, what you actually meant was one person.

What a waste of a thread.

When did 10 people on Tumblr start to represent all Liberals?

Dibs! New sig. Thank you, blax! :)

You said 'liberals'. Not 'some', not 'these liberals', but 'liberals, directly implying all liberals. Don't try and weasel out of your own statement.

No, it's not 'liberal ideology', no matter how much you pout.

Yes, people tweeting something you disagree with is basically the holocaust. Great comparison devoid of hyperbole.

Step 1) Find something someone said you disagree with on the internet.
Step 2) Attribute that belief onto everyone from group X
Step 3) Whine

You said liberals. You didn't say some liberals.

And your comparison is absolute hyperbole.

It's not a liberal ideology.

Yes, that's pretty much how the English language works.

Own the fail, sport.

LMAO I love when OPs instantly fail and get destroyed by the very first reply then further destroyed by many posts and posters after it. Hilarious.

I don't think they would have held it in the ghettos. The boost of investment and infrastructure would have been in the affluent areas. Which probably would have made the race issue even worse.

Give it a rest, you lost a long ways back. Too bad you don't have anything of substance to debate. Maybe you should check my spelling.

Liberals wanted U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps to give up the honor of carrying the American flag and leading his country’s athletes at the opening ceremony for the Rio Olympic games Friday night.

.... right now America has enough tall, successful, rich white guys hogging the spotlight trying to make America great,”

Not one word of that has been debunked.

LOL! There was nothing to win in such a whiny OP.

Your weak rationalizations prove that.

LMAO thread history proves different :laughat:

Why would it? Good for Phelps - got no problem with the Mark Spitz of our time winning more medals...

...just like I have no problem with the U.S. Women's gymnastics team crushing the competition...and noting that out of the five top U.S. contestants, two were white, one was Hispanic, and two (including the reigning world champ) were black.

Within our lifetimes, America will be a majority-minority nation. Get over it. Might as well get used to it, because nobody, but nobody this side of Heaven can stop that from happening. The Serenity Prayer applies: change the things you can, endure the things you can't change, and pray for the wisdom to know the difference.

I meant the whiner in the OP.

He already whined that Phelps had a lot of medals so he should not have had the honor of carrying the flag, then Phelps won another.

Like I said that must have really burnt his hyde.

You don't know that.

Yes I do.

The world would have then been focused on Chicago and the killing would have been front page news worldwide.

Obama would then have been asked why he is not doing something about it.

Yes it would have been a disaster.

this post really says more about you than anything else.

No doubt.

I was thinking to myself, "I bet that really pisses off the racist wingnut types. They will probably want to "blame" Obama or Hillary or some liberal."

Those guys are just too easy and predictable, hey? :lamo

Again, that's your opinion.

But then, I remember during the Atlanta Olympics, there was a terrorist attack. The guy who did it was an American, a non-Muslim white guy who had already bombed an abortion clinic and a lesbian nightclub. Here's his statement of why he did it:

In the summer of 1996, the world converged upon Atlanta for the Olympic Games. Under the protection and auspices of the regime in Washington millions of people came to celebrate the ideals of global socialism. Multinational corporations spent billions of dollars, and Washington organized an army of security to protect these best of all games. Even though the conception and purpose of the so-called Olympic movement is to promote the values of global socialism, as perfectly expressed in the song Imagine by John Lennon, which was the theme of the 1996 Games even though the purpose of the Olympics is to promote these ideals, the purpose of the attack on July 27 was to confound, anger and embarrass the Washington government in the eyes of the world for its abominable sanctioning of abortion on demand.
The plan was to force the cancellation of the Games, or at least create a state of insecurity to empty the streets around the venues and thereby eat into the vast amounts of money invested.

It should be noted that Atlanta is not exactly an extremely white place, since there are some on this thread who can't seem to get past the color of peoples' skins. So that means that all those black folks - many of whom were armed - didn't go attacking the Olympics...but the socialism's-destroying-freedom right-winger did.

I had no problem with Phelps carrying the flag - it's not unusual at all for the most-awarded athlete of a nation to carry the flag of that nation in the Olympic opening ceremony. It's pretty normal, in fact.

But just because one liberal thought that way, please don't go broad-brushing the rest of us with what he thinks. He doesn't represent the liberal mindset by a long shot.

Come to think of it, as liberal as I certainly am, since I strongly support nuclear power (for energy and weapons), and I strongly support the TPP, neither do I. The point being, of course, is that it's a big mistake to think that any one person represents the millions who share the same label. For instance, David Duke claims to be a conservative and is running as a Republican...but IMO he represents neither. I think you would agree with me on that statement.

What does what happened in 1996 have to do with anything I said?

Simple. The very same factors that you claim about Chicago could very easily have applied to Atlanta...but the 'disaster' you seem to think was inevitable simply didn't happen...and the attack that did happen didn't come from the source that you apparently would have expected.

Loudmouth right-whinge bigots make me sick.

Liberals wanted U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps to give up the honor of carrying the American flag and leading his country’s athletes at the opening ceremony for the Rio Olympic games Friday night.

He’s the wrong color and the wrong sex.

Leading the pack of naysayers was W. Kamau Bell, host of CNN’s “United Shades of America.” In a CNN op-ed, he described the swimming sensation as a “tall, successful, rich white guy” who clearly didn’t “need the honor.”

“With 22 Olympic medals, you are already the most decorated athlete in Olympic history,” he said.

But American fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad is a different story.

“Muhammad carrying the flag would be much bigger than your one moment,” Bell writes. “It would be a symbol for our country in this moment when we are mostly known for one of the most contentious, controversial, scandal-ridden, hateful, xenophobic, jingoistic, and just generally unlikable presidential elections in recent memory. This is at a time when we could use some more symbols of unity and togetherness.”

Bell referred to Muhammad as “a one-stop inclusion shop due to her race, sex and religion. Phelps, on the other hand was something else entirely.

No offense, but right now America has enough tall, successful, rich white guys hogging the spotlight trying to make America great,” he said, in an obvious reference to Donald Trump.

I very specifically referrenced the guy from the OP and no one else.

Why do you think I was talking about you?
