Keeping Illegal Mexicans Out Of The USA

Why just Mexicans? The illegal border crossers comprise people from almost 100 countries.
You got a point there. The idea is to keep people from coming into the USA illegally, whether they're Mexican or not, and those that do come to the USA illegally often do so through Mexico, although as you point out they're not always Mexican themselves.

We need them, white people don't produce much of a population. Too busy fighting I guess. Just wait for the senior boomers, we need workers in healthcare. Looks like we owe the Hispanics a thank you. :)
No wonder commercials are geared to Hispanics. They're going to be the #1 market.

If this projection is borne out by the census data — set to be released this week — it will mean the white decline has come around eight years earlier than experts predicted, William Frey, a demographer at the Brookings Institution, told the Post.

The number of white people in the United States is expected to show a decline in the latest U.S. Census Bureau data for the first time since the census' inception, reports the Washington Post.

The U.S. population is expected to show just 7.4% growth in the last decade — the slowest in history, except for the 1930s. The bulk of the growth is from people of color.

We need a national ID, and nobody who is here who can't prove legal residency should be able to drive a car, use healthcare, put a kid in school, rent an apartment, nothing. Some nations are like that.
China for example requires a national ID. Free countries don't.

How much Covid are these criminals carrying at the border? Looks like Obama’s ISIS waltzing through. Good grief
Mexico has a fifth the cases of the US.

Not only are Mexicans less likely to be infected it's very unlikely that a Mexican suffering from Covid is going to attempt the difficult journey to the US.

It’s not just Mexicans. And population is less than 1/2 of US. How many are crossing that are infected?

Mexican migrants aren’t spreading COVID in the U.S. No, Republicans are doing that

How many of these instant criminals crossing the border have Covid?

They would be crossing into a country with a higher infection rate.

Worry about your own antivaccer countrymen if you're concerned about Covid. You're in more danger from people like Trump and MTJ than from Mexicans.

So any idea who has Covid out of the 1000’s that are crossing? We are all over DeSantis for posting weekly instead of daily stats. Seems this info would be important for officials to know.

We know that none of the four variants currently circulating in the US originated in Mexico.

So we have no idea how many are crossing with Covid? I guess it doesn’t matter.

Your may be right about our actions from 2.3.or 400 years ago. That does not mean that we should sit back and watch another group from stealing our land today. If we wree in the wrong then South America is wrong too. Liberalism just plain sucks.

Do you live on stolen Native American and/or Mexican land?

Border walls have proven themselves effective on borders around the world. Especially when supplemented with additional security measures. A border wall cannot stand all by itself and be expected to be effective without those supplemental security measures. Neither could those supplemental security measures stand on their own without a wall. The two are significant parts of a larger whole.

It's called a deterrent and it's also called time.
It takes time for someone to climb over the new design wall which was being erected. It is that time which allows CBP to respond and arrive on scene (supplemental systems having in pointed the location). The two together, plus the CPB, have proven themselves effective, as we have seen in the previous administration.

I once floated the idea of stationing military sniper teams at 1 mile intervals along the border. Have them move every night so that you'd never know where they were. I would hazard a guess that this would be both effective and cost effective, but I don't think that you'd got for it (and frankly, neither would I, if you get right down to it).

So a wall with the needed supplemental security systems to enhance the effectiveness of both and mobile CBP to respond to incursions.

Give us some examples of border walls that 1,954 miles long that have been effective.

The short answer: yes, the Great Wall was successful in keeping semi-nomadic invaders out, which was the primary concern at the time. However, the wall did not stop some large scale invasions, and even the nomadic people were able to breach the wall from time to time

"Illegal Mexicans."

lol...the hilarity of it is the op sees nothing wrong with this statement.

lol....now, that ^ is a stupid post.

Yo, it's not like "illegal Mexicans" are crossing the border on horses....lol

It makes sense to not let people into the USA illegally, or do you want Mexicans to be able to waltz on over here willy nilly?

No, I do NOT want them to "waltz on over here willy nilly."

But I prefer them to predators (born in this country) who rob, sucker punch, loot, rape, and murder -- often with impunity!
